I made an appt on 10/16 for 7am on 10/18. The issue was the back left caliper on my Honda Civic. In my view, a caliper either should have been set aside or ordered ahead of time for my appt at 7am Friday. I found out later from Jason that the part had to be ordered. As a result, he wasted my entire Friday making me sit in the waiting room for 5 hours when he could have given me a rental vehicle. He said a couple of times that he could bring me home, but that's not what I wanted. I can't run errands without a car. My car was finished around Noon and he knew I had an eye apt in Edina at 1:30. There was no charge because it was a mistake he made 2 months ago. I drove up to my apt and during my return journey, there was something wrong with my front end. By now it was 3pm and the dealership would need to close soon. Jason offered to take me home again and I said no, I'll wait for it again. In my mind, how am I going to do any errands and how will I get to work to Red Wing on Monday? His service was thoughtless and selfish. We then learned that my car would need to stay there over the weekend and they would get to it on Monday. I was not happy with this. Friday was my day off and it was wasted at the dealership. I could tell Jason didn't like giving out rentals for some reason from the beginning and soon I would find out why. When he was getting a car lined up for me, he said the last time he issued a rental car, it was a teacher who got a DUI, which was offensive to me because I'm a teacher and he knows this. Quickly, his insinuation indicated to me that he believes all teachers are alcoholics. He ran my driver's license and told me it needed to be renewed in a week. As I glared at him for that comment, my mind was thinking, I didn't say it, but wanted to say and you're the reason why I didn't renew it today because you wasted my entire Friday. I also caught him lying twice. When I was in the second time on Friday for the front of my car, he asked if I wanted to see the pictures he took with the mechanic. At first I said no, but when he asked again, I said yes. Clearly, he didn't take pictures because he then walked me back to the shop and had the mechanic show me and talk to me what was wrong with my car. Today, while at work in Red Wing, I was waiting for some kind of notification from Jason that my car was done and ready for pickup. I received no such call or email or anything. My day ends at 3:30 and from Red Wing, I drove straight to the dealership. Upon entering, I saw Jason walking towards the shop and I said out loud "is it done? I never received a call from you!" Lie #2: he said "oh yeah, I messaged you to your current number" and then kept walking towards the shop. I do NOT ever want to work with Jason again. As you know, I have been a loyal customer dating back to 2006 when my wife and I bought our first brand new Honda; an Odyssey van. More
