By September 2017 the car was leaking antifreeze smoke into the passenger cabin through the vents and Walser said the new heater core had failed. They replaced that under a Mopar parts warranty at no cost. Last week, the same leaking happened. Walser claimed the heater core had again failed but insisted that the warranty would no longer cover replacement. This didn't seem right to me so I took the car to a different shop. The new shop diagnosed a bad radiator cap, and replaced the radiator cap. The car has been fine since. Walser just didn't seem willing to work with me to help resolve an issue that shouldn't have occurred three times (who ever heard of a heater core failing three times in 27 months?). Not only that, but they apparently cannot even diagnose a bad radiator cap. I'm not sure if it's ineptness or dishonesty but either way I won't be back. What would have been a $1400 repair actually turned out to be a $50 fix. More

I attempted to schedule several times over the next few weeks but kept getting put on hold and disconnected. I finally was able to get into the dealership this month to learn that there was a radiator leak which is not covered under warranty. They won't help cover the repair despite this being an existing issue but they did inform me that there was a $100 coupon I could use on the $1000 repair. More

Love the vehicle, hate the service. Second vehicle I've ever bought from a dealership. It just so happens they had a used car we liked. So we checked it out and decided to buy it. There was a few services that were offered to us, and the price would be added to our total. My wife and I were having a hard time deciding if we wanted some of these services. The salesperson told us it was cheaper to buy them now then add them later. She also said if we buy them they are easy to cancel, and the total would go down, giving us lower payments. I bought the car on Friday with 3 extra services. Called on Monday canceling 2 of the 3 services. Turns out these services are very hard to cancel, and my total did not go down. The salesperson could not do anything for us, strange. so started dealing with the manager, what a pain. He didn't answer my calls, and took a long time to respond to my emails. I did finally get some checks back but not for the right amounts. So still here 2 months later and still not finished. Long story short, love the car but the service sucks. Will not be going back to this walker dealer or any other for that matter. More

We just bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from the Walser in Hopkins and the experience was top-notch. We narrowed down our desired vehicle to two models, and we started with the Jeep. Boy did we luck out! We went to Walser and met with Max Elliott. He was so knowledgeable about the Limited, as well as all other Jeep models. Max asked questions about our day-to-day lifestyle, listened to our wish list and was able to make recommendations based on what would suit us the best. I think the no-commission approach at Walser really allows the sales staff to advise each customer based on what suits him/her instead of based on money. Everyone at Walser was so nice and welcoming, genuinely interested in giving us the best experience possible. Even though we went on a Saturday and the place was buzzing, they made us feel like their most important customer. Max advised us to explore their website on Sunday to make sure we found a model that had everything we wanted, which turned out to be GREAT advice! I didn't even KNOW that I wanted a panoramic sunroof:) We found one at a nearby Walser, and texted Max. Even though it was Sunday, he responded right away and the Jeep of our dreams was at the Hopkins lot on Monday and we purchased it that night. When we got home, we noticed 3 small dents (that had been called out with arrows by the first dealership). We called Max and even though WE had missed it during our shopping experience, HE apologized to US and they are fixing it right away for no additional charge. We couldn't have asked for a better car shopping experience. More

The team was professional on the new side however we couldn't get the figures to work within our budget so we decided to look more for a used vehicle. A few days after our visit we got an email showing a price decrease on a vehicle we had tagged as a potential match. Now in our price range, I immediately called the representative we were working with and sent my children over to inspect it within the hour as I was out of town on business. They loved it and as the Jeep was exactly what we were looking for so I called the representative and asked her to start preparing the paperwork. I also asked about putting a deposit down via credit card over the phone, they do not take deposits apparently. Moments later after the kids left super excited about their new car we got another email alert that the price on the vehicle had changed again--now gone up by $1,000 again pushing the vehicle beyond our price range. I forwarded both emails to my representative hopping that meant their "we are on you side" and would stand by their offer. I WILL never visit Walser again and left very disappointed. More

They took my complaints very serious and had a regional manager AND the service manager, Dave, call me. This is the level of service I received the 1st time I went in. They took care of all the issues I had, and even had 2 guys come to my place to pick up my vehicle to finish the work that needed to be done. It showed me that they really do care about their customers and prove it with their actions. I am back on the Walser band wagon and plan to purchase my next vehicle there in addition to continuing to have my service done there. ( To follow is the issues from my last visit that were thoroughly taken care of, in addition to my first pleasant experience) I've had 2 experiences with Walser. The 1st one, 6 months ago was great. Today, was a horrible experience! I brought my Jeep in for what I found out later was 6 different software issues and the paint on my tow package showing a lot of rust after 1 year of use. The first service rep tried to intimidate me and was absolutly condescending , using phrases like... did you NOT hear what I just told you?? After he walked away and told the other service reps, " I can't deal with this guy" another one came over and was much better and at my request, told me a manager would talk with me about the other rep. Which never happened even after asking a 2nd time. He was either in a meeting or too busy. Because there were 6 different software issues, they said it would take until 3pm but would not give me a loaner even though my lifetime bumper to bumper warranty that I purchased covers loaners. They ended up giving me a shuttle ride to my place. At 2:30, they called and told me my Jeep won't be ready until tomorrow but they will send a shuttle to pick me up and bring me back to get my Jeep and then I can come back tomorrow and have them finish it. I live 20 minutes from them, 30 minutes in rush hour. The rep that called me acted like making that round trip 3 times was no big deal in the middle of my work day! Very cocky, nonchelant with a "just deal with it attitude". I will never go there again and if Jeep doesn't step up and fix the rust on their trailer hitch frame (which, the 1st rep told me they won't do anything about because the paint just rusted off and wasn't pitted), I'll never buy a Jeep again either. OH, The service rep told me I had a 50/50 chance of the software fixes working so my Jeep may continue shifting hard. TO FOLLOW IS THE 1ST VISIT REVIEW- How did the attitude and feel of the entire place change in 6 months?? It went from friendly to ugly....... Had a great experience in service. They kept me well informed, the place was very clean and well layed out to be able to relax and they made sure I was comfortable while I was waiting. The wait time was also reasonable. No complaints. It's a little ways from me but I'm going back with all service needs and, possibly, future buys. More

From the general manager David personally handling our trade in, to the service technicians that hoisted the car up on a lift so we could look under it, all the while John courteously and patiently walking us through the entire process and answering every question we had. We were nervous to go into the car buying process today - our first car purchased as a married couple - but Walker's fresh "best price", team selling, and non-commission approaches were a dream to experience as a consumer. My wife and I will never go back to the old way of heckling and fighting for every penny at other dealerships all the while wondering if they are trying to get you in the car that's actually right for you!!
