We ha numerous issues with purchasing a car from this Walser dealership. They did not have the car ready when we had scheduled pickup. It was not detailed - interior or exterior, it did not have its plates on, nor did they have a front plate mount in stock so we had to wait 4 hours for them to get one from another dealership. They also gave us the car with an almost empty gas tank which I felt was not the customer service you would expect. We spent weeks communicating back and forth with a rep via text trying to get our car back in for them to fix issues that were not dealt with and the time and energy into that was exhausting because they never followed through and I was constantly having to reach back out. I finally spoke with someone in higher management who was able to finally expedite the issues and get us in. We ended up having a rental car for 5 days so they could get done what they should have done. Needless to say I am not impressed and won’t be returning to this dealership in the future. More
Dropped my truck off for a routine oil change, tire rotation, and a software update for recall. I had a 9am appointment and estimated time was 2 hours. Didn’t receive an update until 3:45p and was told rotation, and a software update for recall. I had a 9am appointment and estimated time was 2 hours. Didn’t receive an update until 3:45p and was told it would be ready in 2 hours. Showed up at the dealership to pick up my vehicle after 6pm. My vehicle wasn’t done yet and the technician apparently left for the day so it wouldn’t be complete until the following day. I never received any communication around it taking longer than expected. I wasn’t offered a loaner vehicle or any remediation to make the situation better. I asked for the manager to call me the next day, never did. I’ve never had such poor customer experience and lack of communication. This was supposed to be a 2 hour appointment that turned into over 24 hours. More
I’ve been working with Walser for 20 years now and always have excellent service when dealing with Jim Sochko. He is very friendly and super knowledgeable and I feel he deals fairly with all his customers. have excellent service when dealing with Jim Sochko. The buying experience was outstanding a few years ago. My mechanic and rep gave awesome service back in Jan 2024. However, this last visit has me searching for a new location or dealership. Was the worst My mechanic and rep gave awesome service back in Jan 2024. However, this last visit has me searching for a new location or dealership. Was the worst I've ever experienced and had inconsistent communication. I scheduled a service for my Jeep weeks in advance. I dropped it off on time and expected an update by late afternoon. I had to call them and was told the tech wouldn't get to my car until the next day. On the second day, there were still no updates until I called again. They had only checked an issue that wasn't the reason I brought in my vehicle. I had simply asked at drop-off if faulty O2 sensors could affect my back latch misfiring. They took it as needing diagnostics on that instead of addressing my engine light, water pump, and O2 sensors. On the third day, I finally heard back and decided to fix two major issues, leaving the back hatch for later since I had been without my car for three days and didn’t want it to extend into the weekend. On the fourth day, I was told my car was ready. When I picked it up, I was charged more than the quote. I just wanted my car back so badly that I paid and left. However, I noticed a large part hanging over my seats and wires exposed. I returned inside, and they fixed it quickly. The look on everyone's faces told me everything I needed to know—someone was not doing a very good job! This was the worst experience. I won't even get into the details of asking for a loaner (I understand there were none available). However, customers shouldn't have to chase updates. Providing updates would have allowed me to make other arrangements or reschedule. I definitely wanted to speak to a manager, but wasnt in a good head space at that time. More
Always accommodating and friendly. Have owned nine Jeeps in my lifetime, four were purchased from Walser. I have never found a reason not to purchase from Walser in the future and to a Have owned nine Jeeps in my lifetime, four were purchased from Walser.
