Phil Coste -- Best Sales Rep at Burnsville Mazda!!! I was looking at new vehicles in August. I went to see Phil Coste at Walser Mazda Burnsville after my husband had met with him earlier in the day. Phi I was looking at new vehicles in August. I went to see Phil Coste at Walser Mazda Burnsville after my husband had met with him earlier in the day. Phil is the BEST! He let me drive vehicle after vehicle that evening, it was raining and he still kept running back and pulling out cars for me to drive. He answered every question I had about the Mazda 5. So knowledgeable and very polite. Although I ended not buying a Mazda, I would tell everyone I know to go see Phil Coste before you make any vehicle purchases. He is the Salesperson!!! If I could give him 10 stars, I certainly would!! Thank you Phil! More
Walser Way NO WAY I bought a CX 5 at Walser Mazda in Burnsville less than two weeks ago. Within a few days I found a problem with the wipers. I took it back to the deal I bought a CX 5 at Walser Mazda in Burnsville less than two weeks ago. Within a few days I found a problem with the wipers. I took it back to the dealership and they found that the sensor had not been properly installed when the windshield had been replaced by the previous owner. This was an already existing problem with the car I bought and it was less than one week later when I let them know about the problem. I talked to the Sales at Walser and they would not cover the cost to fix the issue. While it was a used car, it was only a 2014 and it is now 2016. This wasn't a cheap car; I bought the car at a substantial price. To fix the sensor issue, it would cost almost $680 with tax. If I had been made aware of the issue before I bought it, I would have had them fix it before I purchased it. I made an appointment to fix it anyway but I later called to cancel the appointment and to tell them I was dissatisfied and unhappy with how they handled an already existing problem. I was told that my salesperson or the sales manager would call me back. Nothing but crickets. No one has called me back. Not cool, Walser. If this is "The Walser Way," NO THANK YOU. More

Even though I know they "have" to be nice to me to make a sale, they seemed to be genuinely interested in making my experience a pleasant one. I was paired with Miko Freeman who was eager to show me the product I wanted to see and he knew his product well! He was enthusiastic, friendly and not pushy. He did an excellent job...best I've ever had! Overall, the dealership and experience was fantastic! I would buy from them again! More
They Have No Clue We were in the market for a different van. We noticed the below 2013 van in the Mazda dealership for $20,383 on the day before Thanksgiving. I chatt We were in the market for a different van. We noticed the below 2013 van in the Mazda dealership for $20,383 on the day before Thanksgiving. I chatted with Person A online from Walser and she said told me it was available and asked if I wanted to test drive. Since we are from WI, I asked her how the sales tax worked from someone out of state. She chatted back and told me that she really didn't know the out of state process and a salemans will get back to me. Our family was all excited about heading up to Walser and checking out the van. After an hour and no phone call, I chatted back and mentioned I had not heard anything yet. She apologized and said all of the sales people were very busy and said she would ping the sales dept again. Checking the Walser Mazda dealership again, the van disappeared from their website. I thought that was very odd. When the salesperson called back, they told me it moved back to the Toyota dealership in Bloomington "yesterday" -- which would have been Tuesday because it wasn't moving at the Mazda dealership. Again, I was confused. Why did Person A tell me it was available at the Mazda dealership and ask me if I wanted to test drive it??? I asked if it would be at $20,383 and he said he wasn't sure. I checked the Walser Toyota dealership website and sure enough...it was there. But, the price bounced up to $21,998. I called and talked to Person B. She gave me excuses why the price went back up -- which made no sense to me. She asked if there was anything else she could do, and I said yes -- get me the sale price I saw on the Mazda dealership. I online chatted with Person A again about my disappointment and she said she would talk to her manager about that. Waiting all day for a phone call, I finally heard back from a sales manager. He did not sound excited or happy to talk to me -- I could tell by the tone of his voice. He told me that I bascially had 5 hours in which he would honor the price. I was in the middle of preparing for Thankgiving dinner. So --he wanted me to drop everything and drive 2 and 1/2 hours to the new dealership. I thought I offered a reasonable compromise. I asked that I would wait until Sat and if he didn't sell it, then give me a call. I would check the van out at the Mazda sale price. He said he couldn't do that. I wasn't sure if this was bait & switch or just a poorly organized operation. We bought a van from a dealership in WI. More
