Annual inspection and recall item fix Everything went as I had anticipated for this service visit. My annual inspection was due, as well as having two recall parts/items, that needed atten Everything went as I had anticipated for this service visit. My annual inspection was due, as well as having two recall parts/items, that needed attention. I did, however, have two separate unusual “noises” that I wanted to bring to the service departments attention. I described them the best that I could, but I was told that the mechanic could not replicate my concerns. Theses are issues that I hope to address when I can ride along with a mechanic to point them out as they occur, because they only occur at certain times and at certain speeds. Obviously, during this time of Covid social distancing, it will have to be another time. I was pleased with the plastic protection on my steering wheel and driver’s seat, that was an improvement from my previous visit. It would have been a good idea to have provided hand sanitizing for customers in the waiting area. More

I purchased a CPO VW Jetta. Manny was my salesman. Overall I had a good experience. I arrived at my scheduled time to pick up my car & Manny took me to my car. There wasn’t a license plate on the fron Overall I had a good experience. I arrived at my scheduled time to pick up my car & Manny took me to my car. There wasn’t a license plate on the front of the vehicle. Manny asked if it was ok to drill holes to put the plate on my car. Yes, I told him that it is NY State law that I have a plate on the front & back of the vehicle. He said that he would try to have the service department put the plate on. He checked with service & told me that I would have to come back to have the plate put on. He put the plate on my dashboard in the window & told me it was ok to drive the car like that. I told him no, I need the plate put on so I can drive the car home. I was dropped off to pick up my car so I didn’t have a ride other than calling an Uber which if I left I was have had to come back another time. Reluctantly I drove the car home. Manny needs to know that it is against the law to drive a vehicle without a front plate in NYS. I called on Monday morning as he told me to do & Manny said that he was on his way out of town & to call the service department myself to schedule an appointment. He knew he wasn’t going to be there on Monday. I called the sales manager who said to bring the car in & they would get the plate on my car. I had to take time from work to go have a license plate put on my car. Unacceptable that the plate wasn’t on the car when I picked it up. I asked another salesman to help me with getting a plate put on my car & he told me it was ok to drive it like that & the service department was too busy to put the plate on at the time I purchased the vehicle. Also, Manny was VERY rushed as he went through the paperwork with me. He said he had people waiting for him. Frustrating experience. I bought 2 other VW’s from the former Langan VW that previously occupied the same building. I never had any issues in 27 years of going to Langan VW. So far I am not impressed with Fuccillo VW. More
Service was quick and easy. They even sent me a video of everything going on underneath my vehicle and gave me their suggestions when I should change certain parts out!
