The dealer ship took my truck in the next morning, a Saturday and problem solved the nob issue. Fixed it/ reinforced it. It works as it should. I am still not satisfied with this Spectrum by Curtis brake nob, but that is not the dealerships fault. They did try to use the oem switch. The Drive Manager made it good. Now I am researching why I still can't have the OEM control system in the truck. I am very mechanically in cline, so to my surprise that this brake controller is just a kit! I could have installed it, it came with instructions. But I was not give the option to just purchase it. I was told that my vehicle needed this module installed in order to have the electric brakes work. So after 3 trips to the dealership, I was charged $383.40! $210 is the list price for the kit..-$20 discount for my troubles, so I should have payed over $400. So now I feel that I was forced to have them do the work, when in fact its a optional kit. I was never told that I could install it myself. The way it was explained, was that the truck didn't have this module and it needed to be installed along with the new nob. This issue will be taken up with the dealership. I have already put in a information claim to corporate GM for answers about having the original OEM brake controller equipment. This is a 2019 truck, purchased a year ago, and I can't have the OEM GM electric brake controller that both my 2017 Tahoe and Silverado has?????????????? Not acceptable for me. I just believe that a GM dealership would have the answer for me, not a aftermarket . I was apologized to many times, but only after my last review. I was told that I would be give a on the house oil change at my next scheduled interval. More
