This whole issue coul This letter is to address a complaint about service I received from Wally Armour Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership in Alliance. This whole issue could have been resolved if a manager just would have taken control of the situation instead of putting my original sales representative; Zach, as the middle man. In the very beginning of August 2015, I visited Wally Armour on a recommendation by a friend to get the orange Jeep Wrangler Soft Top that I really wanted. I drove 25 miles out of my way to come to your dealership. Zach was very accommodating with my needs. The one fault that he made, was that he failed to make the recommendation of having the factory top for my jeep in place of the current after-market one that is on the Jeep now for the approximate difference of $4.00 - $15.00 more a month. I complained about this after-market top less than one month of having it. Zach quoted me $1395.00 more to have the factory top. I asked about exchanging, I was told that this top was mine to do with what I want. He said that I could sell out right to someone else and start over. He told me he would get back to me. Meanwhile the hard top goes back on because I can’t drive around town with it down because you have to store it and not until spring did I call back to talk with Zach about this issue again. My husband is going to be 60 years old with back issues, the factory top is deemed a necessity to make it easier for him to enjoy the benefits of having a soft top. This after-market top has to be hand rolled back, removed from the jeep and has to be stored. When calling in May/June 2016 to find out how we were going to handle my issue, I was now quoted a price of $2200.00 for the same top we talked about in September 2015 at $1395.00. I was willing to negotiate with Wally Armour and was refused the opportunity. Sad to say, but I was offered the same price as if I came in off the street to purchase that top, then I was insulted by the Wally Armour Service department when they said they would take off the labor. I am quite frustrated that I didn’t get to talk to or get a manager to listen or act on my concerns with urgency and customer satisfaction in mind. Zach just got to play the middleman the whole time. If I knew how to get out of my lease without penalties I would. I have never been so disappointed by the service I received at your dealership. I should have just stayed local. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. Surely, my unfortunate experience is not in alignment with your mission and vison statements you have posted on your website. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience through all my resources. More
Another great experience I went to trade in my little truck for a bigger one knowing full well that my situation was less than perfect for getting approved. No problem with lying I inquired on a vehicle and was ready to come see it on a Saturday. The internet contact told me they were making repairs on external dents or someth I inquired on a vehicle and was ready to come see it on a Saturday. The internet contact told me they were making repairs on external dents or something and could not see it then. I asked her to let me know when it was back, she said she would. I looked and the suv was taken down from the site, which led me to believe it was sold. Found out it was under contract. This knowledge was gained after I asked. Then the sale fell through and she did tell me about it and I asked about a price and even showed a model year newer going for significantly less. She then proceed to state the flaws in it and went into the usual jargon about how they have been around for 20 years and don't negotiate prices, that they would have to do that for everyone. I thought that was complete bs as it is a car dealership not a Walmart. So I asked around and what do you know, some friends of mine have bought form there and they DO negotiate prices. When I brought this up, there was no budging and it ended her saying "all good, good luck with finding a vehicle." I can't believe this sort of crap goes on. You are in sales and prices with buying cars are always negotiable Don't fall for these tactics. Go elsewhere. Update - owner comments are BS. She did not keep me informed, I had to ask when the listing was taken down. Nice try. More
