A few days later the low brake fluid light came on so that part was at least skipped in the process. Took it in again a few months later for the same thing and this time a few days later the low air pressure light came on. I have to wonder what they actually inspected and if the even rotated my tires. Also, on a separate service appointment my care was driven 25 miles and driven hard. My fuel mileage dropped from 32 to 28 and it was at half a tank at the time. I have little to no faith in the service department.. More
Excellent service We are from out of town and Walls are friendly, kind and couldn't be more helpful! They would be my dealership of choice! We have been coming to New H We are from out of town and Walls are friendly, kind and couldn't be more helpful! They would be my dealership of choice! We have been coming to New Hampshire for 15 years camping. This is the second time we have utilized walls for an issue with our truck. They had a service person look at it, and took it in, just for our piece of mind. More
My 2008 Lincoln MKZ with fewer than 70,000 miles, check engine light went on and I went to a local mechanic to get a diagnostic reading for free. I was told that I needed expensive repairs. I called Wall engine light went on and I went to a local mechanic to get a diagnostic reading for free. I was told that I needed expensive repairs. I called Walls Ford in Salisbury MA and spoke to the manager who informed me that these things were like light bulbs, either they work or they didn't. Some just burn out ( really expensive light bulb). When I went for the $100 diagnostic, the service manager, Eric was snarky and actually smirked when he told me that the repairs were going to cost thousands. He was going to let the Lincoln Customer Service know the situation. He did not share his findings with me. I was informed by the Lincoln customer service that I need another $1,100 in diagnostic tests and the engine most likely needed to be replaced. Lincoln customer service told me to get the car repaired and then they would decide what they could do for us. We couldn't afford the repairs, so we got rid of the car for $3000 less than book value. I was told by the Nissan Dealership that the entire engine was shot. Very poor service on a very expensive car with little support from anyone. We spend a lot on the car because we were told it was a great car with a good track record. The only way this would have worked is if we could keep it for years. We lost our shirt. I consider it another corporate donation to FORD. More
I bought my Ford at a different dealer because I lived in a different town. Then I moved here and had an oil change at Walls and everything was fine. But then I needed an inspection sticker and I have always a different town. Then I moved here and had an oil change at Walls and everything was fine. But then I needed an inspection sticker and I have always got them at a dealer. It's always been a quick easy thing at every other dealer. At Walls they refused to do an inspection on my 2 year old Ford Escape unless I get other services done at the same time! What? I have never had to do that any other Ford dealer or any dealer for that matter. Needless to say I've never been back to Walls. I switched to the next closest Ford dealer. It's an extra 10 minute drive but I won't go back to Walls. More

Walls Ford and their now closed Lincoln Mercury dealership in Methuen, MA have always been a 1st rate family owned dealership. I have had my Lincoln Mark LT truck serviced at their former Methuen dealership in Methuen, MA have always been a 1st rate family owned dealership. I have had my Lincoln Mark LT truck serviced at their former Methuen facility several times and have always been impressed by their professional behavior and performance on service and maintenance. It is extremely difficut to believe the last reveiwer's December evaluation and comments on Wall's service work. Who in their right mind would ever pay $2000 for a tune-up on one vehicle. The price noted is absurd and unbelievable! Wall's service would never overlook the refilling of an automatic transmission and then attempt to charge a customer for an entire tranny replacement. More likely this "customer" is fictitious and this is merely an attempt to discredit Wall's by a local competitor. After driving a vehicle w/o the auto transmission fluid, the transmission would be ruined and there is no way that a mere refilling at another service shop would make it alright! Beware false reviews. More
I purchased 2 used vehicles from this dealer, a Mercury Montego and Mercury Milan. At first I was treated fairly and, as far as I know, honestly for each scheduled maintence or problem. My last experience Montego and Mercury Milan. At first I was treated fairly and, as far as I know, honestly for each scheduled maintence or problem. My last experience bordered on fraud: 1 1/2 weeks after a $2,000 tuneup of the Mercury a warning light on the console indicated an engine problem. I was told that the transmission needed to be replaced; a cost of over $2,000. I decided instead to have the car serviced at a local repair shop - there was no problem with the transmission other than the fluid was drained and not refilled during the tuneup at Walls! More
Shortly after Christmas 2007 I took my 2002 Ford Ranger to Walls to diagnose a rough idle, occasional bucking and squeaking noise from under the engine. The truck was dropped off without the check engine to Walls to diagnose a rough idle, occasional bucking and squeaking noise from under the engine. The truck was dropped off without the check engine light on. Within 3 hours of dropping the truck off I received a call from the service writer. He called to tell me that my truck needed a new engine and the squeeking noise was a crank bearing. I was very skeptical of this dignosis but it still ruined my New Year holiday and I decided to pay their $99 diagnosis fee and pick my truck up. Unfortunately I didn't pick up until after hours and when I started it the check engine light was on. Once I got home I used my scanning tool and found the engine code was a misfire on cylinder 4...... I called the dealership to voice my frustration and a different service writer said he would make it right so I dropped my truck off again. They did back down from bad engine diagnosis and instead blamed the problems on low oii level and coolant. I have taken care of the truck since new and it has never used oil or coolant. Needless to say I picked mu truck up and went elsewhere. A local independent found the problem in 20 minutes. The left side O2 sensor was gone which was causing the rough idle etc. The squeak was caused by the rough idle shaking an exhaust hanger near the back of the engine. Needless to say I will never do business with Walls Ford and will do my best to tell everyone I can about my experience. More
