Richie was a great salesperson -- easygoing and informative. I didn't get the feeling that I "had to" buy the car or that Richie was being in any way dishonest or disingenuous, which was my experi informative. The pricing department was willing to come down from the sticker price a bit, which was a nice change from the previous dealerships I'd dealt with, all of whom said their price was "rock-bottom" and refused to come down. I had gotten a call from Bob asking if I wanted to upgrade our GMC Terrain to 2013 model and still have the same monthly payment. I was skeptical at first because the new models are much more expensiv upgrade our GMC Terrain to 2013 model and still have the same monthly payment. I was skeptical at first because the new models are much more expensive than the 2011 model we have. I left there the same day with a 2013 model with the same monthly payment we had. The more important part is tat we never were pushed into something we didn't want or to make a deal we weren't comfortable with. My conditions were clear and they made it happen. That is the reason we've purchased 4 vehicles at Wallingford Buick GMC. More

I originally purchased a new 2012 LaCrosse Touring model in Feb. 2012. The car has exceeded all my expectations for my first American car. The car has been serviced twice. Following a few days of frustration at another dealer, we went on line, checked inventory and reached out to Wallingford, asking forsomeone to get in touch with us. We knew what we wanted and wanted to feel went on line, checked inventory and reached out to Wallingford, asking forsomeone to get in touch with us. We knew what we wanted and wanted to feel good about the services we could expect and the experience we would have buying cars. We received an immediate call from Lawrence and who promised me it would be worth our coming down to the dealership. He was a man of his word. From the moment we met him, we felt better than we had in days. We explained what we were looking for and the price range we were in. In minutes, they inspected our trade in, came back and said "done". The old way of doing the "car buying dance" did not happen. We were so happy, we asked them about another new car we were interested in. The same thing happened. They gave us a "no hassle, sincere desire to work with the customer" feeling. We bought two new cars that day! The long -time dreaded, go in and talk to business manager session, also turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Mary was great. No pressure tactics. She gave us information so we could make our decisions about options that were available. We left her office with a good feeling. Quite different from past car buying experiences. When we picked up the cars, Lawrence took the time to go over all the details and bells and whistles. The cars have so many that we were a bit overwhelmed. He made us feel great. He was patient and offerred to help us as much as we needed! This is our first adventure into Buicks, having been long term Toyota people. However, as it stands right now, we feel Wallingford Buick has two new customers for the rest of our cars buying adventures! Great work! More
