My experience with Wallingford Auto Park was pleasurable from start to finish. I spotted the car I was interested in on the internet and contacted Marcello to make sure the car was still available. He was out on the lot, confirmed the car was still there and for sale and a half hour later I was there for a test drive. Marcello was very pleasant, he took me outside and showed me the car. When there were some questions that he couldn't answer he left me to start and look the car over while he went to get Jim, the salesman. Jim was also very friendly and took the time to answer all my questions and took me out on a rather lengthy test drive. When we got back we went inside to talk numbers, the price was a bit more than I was willing to spend so I told him I would have to think about it. The following morning I e-mailed him to let him know I was no longer interested. He responded promptly and asked what they would have to do to make me happy. I gave them my bottom line monthly payment I was willing to make and how much I was able to put down. He got back to me later that day with the numbers I needed, they had come down in price about $1300. When I came in on Saturday to pick up the car I met with Chris who explained all the aspects of the financing and registration. Within an hour I had my new plates on my car and I was driving away happy. The whole process from finding the car to picking it up only took a couple of days. It was a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone. More

Very pushy sales person,had to work around his schedule not mine,wouldn't detail car, not even given 30 day warranty,when my wife drove by caught the salespeople makink remarks about my wife,checked the oi not mine,wouldn't detail car, not even given 30 day warranty,when my wife drove by caught the salespeople makink remarks about my wife,checked the oil told them it was overfilled my answer was that it was parked on a hill,left dealership drove about 10 miles and oil seals blew out, had to get a tow,had the seals fixed,cost me @ 600 drove it for about 50 miles and oil filter sprung a leak oil was dripping all over my new driveway and engine area is filled with oil,also only given 1 key,the car being a jag it will cost about another 7-8 hundred for a new one,I was told 2 keys came with car,didn't find out until all paperwork was done then was told they had only one key also put wrong battery in door opener have to order one from jag for 32.oo,wish I never went there f ----------------- rating by me,Women if you go there alone be careful.I emailed sales manager and told him my displeases,haven't heard anything back. Which, lets be honest, most car dealerships don't do. And I felt as though everyone was genuine. I have to give a special shout out to Marcelo and Rick Rodriguez because 1) if it weren't for Marcello telling me to come on in, I probably would not have and 2) For Rick being so extremely nice and patient. I love the fact that he took time to teach me about the features of my car and offered to help me set up my blue tooth once I get a new phone. Everything about this experience was absolutely awesome. Again, I thank you, I didn't think I would be driving a new car (to me) this soon. I appreciate everything! And if I ever decide to look again, Wallingford Auto Park will be the first place I come too. Thanks for everything! More
I was sent to Wallingford Auto Park from a friend who recommended it. When I walked in I was greated immeadiately with a huge welcoming smile by Manny Alvarez. I mentioned my friends friend John Gargano, who happens to be the owner. He too welcomed me into his office with a big smile and made me feel very at ease. Being a single woman shopping for a car this is huge. I mentioned that also. After chatting with me John sent me back out to be helped by Manny. We took a walk around the lot and Manny answered all my questions with confidence and a smile. He didn't make me feel like any of my questions were silly or unimportant. I test drove 4 cars, the first with Manny the next three by myself. I ended up with a Nissan Altima '09, I love it! I was so thrilled with my whole experience that I haven't stopped raving about it. I feel like a got a great deal, I was not pressured and I feel like everyone who was a part of the sale really cared that I got the right car for me. Manny was so pleasant and knowledgable, John was very welcoming. The Floor Manager Chris even stopped by at one point to introduce himself and make sure all was good. Christina McCue who helped me through my final paperwork was quick and friendly. All in all from the moment I walked in the door till the moment that Manny handed me my keys and took my smiling picture in front of my new car, I have to say that this was the best car buying experience I have ever been through. They know there buisness and do an excellent job explaining to me and showing me what needs to be done and why . Steve also gives me a heads up on what to watch for with the truck as the wear and tear of everyday driving in New England takes its toll. This way hopefully there are no sudden surprises at my next visit . I always leave there felling i was very fairly treated and that i received great service for my money . Firstly I want to express that my dealings when purchasing a car from this location are strictly my opinion with a member of the sales staff, this has nothing to do with the owner of the company (a purchasing a car from this location are strictly my opinion with a member of the sales staff, this has nothing to do with the owner of the company (although he should probably evaluate some of his sales staff a little better). I was looking for a sport model acura and willing to pay what I needed to get it. I found Wallingford Auto Park had a select few available, at an attractive price point. I am not a nit-picker or a procrastinator when it comes to something that I want, and I paid upwards of $20k for this vehicle without hassle. The least I would have expected from the sales staff would be that they were upfront with what I was buying. Well – Turns out a year later when I am attempting to trade this in on a upgrade/newer model – I find that the vehicle had a severe front impact crash where the airbags were deployed. – Ah – that’s why the sales rep stalled the carfax report and was rushing the purchase because “there were two other guys showing up today to look at the same car because it was such a great deal”. Let me tell you something – I have learned my $5,000 lesson from this. Not to mention the problem I had out of the gate with the Hands Free Link Unit – which they promised to “get back to me on” or “send me over to acura to have the unit fixed” – BS. Won’t find me recommending this place to anyone, EVER. You want luxury – go buy it CPO’d from the Dealer, case in point. More
