Not only did they spend a lot of time to make sure I got out the door with the vehicle that day but they also personally took on the portion of the vehicle I wanted to finance as I was just short on cash and the amount was too small to get a bank loan. I knew there must have been a reason why everyone in my family was going back to Wallingford Auto Park, and this week I found out why. After I was in a collision the week before, my search for a new car began sooner than I had anticipated. As a recent college grad, I required a vehicle that would not only meet my driving needs but my financial needs as well. John helped me identify the perfect used car for my needs, thoroughly cleaned and touched up the car to practically brand new condition (painted and buffed out several small scratches, and removed the previous owners GPS adhesive mount), and spent over two hours working with me until we found a payment plan that would fit my budget comfortably. This was my first experience ever financing a vehicle, and for most 20 something year old's out there; it can be a challenging and exciting experience. But with John's advice and the help from the rest of his staff I found the experience to be informative, comfortable, and fair. At the end of the day I found myself driving away in a stunning AWD sedan that not only looked and drove beautifully, but exceeded my expectations and needs. Taking my families advice to check out Wallingford Auto Park turned out to be a some of the best they have given me - and just like them, I will be returning to Wallingford Auto Park for my next vehicle. Other Thoughts: The establishment's selection is a full variety of all makes and models, the vehicles are all clean, organized, and have the informative paper work clearly visible inside the cars (a lot of other dealerships do not practice this!), the show rooms is immaculate, and all of the staff are very tentative (I did not find myself being hounded by sales personnel, they were professional and courteous). Also I wanted to mention that they just happened to have the car I was looking for in stock, but John WILL find the car you want at a price you want. When my sister was looking for a white SUV, John found the exact year, model, make, spec, and interior she wanted - except the car was blue. He ordered her the vehicle and painted it white at a very excellent cost! Do your homework, and identify what you are looking for - bring it to Wallingford Auto Park and let them help you find it - you will not regret it! More

But our decision to visit Wallingford Auto Park was based on the amount of cars to choose from, the price and comparison of models we were interested in drew us to Wallingford Auto Park. This brings us back to the web, it was a ice breaker to have a live chat with a representative to get the feel and to answer some common questions about the dealership. All this and we are at the dealership, Wallingford Auto Park, we are greeted by our first name and introduced to one of there sales personnel, Rick Miller. Rick deserves a lot of credit, he was like talking to a old friend, we never once got a bad feeling that we were into the feared dealership syndrome. The car that we went for was showed to us, was ready for a test drive if we wished,we felt comfortable with the professional manner Rick presented the car and allowing us the proper time to feel this out. It was us that made the decisions to look at other vehicles, and other vehicles we did look. Rick was going back for keys on every car we wanted to look over, every model and make was there. In the end we purchased a car we never really considered, the decision was based on the time we had looking at all the makes and models. Every car was explained with the same courteous manner as the first, there was no pressure no smooth talking sales. We went for a test ride in our car of choice, we returned and the rest of our experience was made that we were in peace with the decision. Never have I experienced a car sale in which we had many vehicles and types to go over, we were in charge of our sale, not the salesperson steering us in which he would profit the most. In the end we purchased a 2012 Hyundai, the car is clean and in New condition, we were presented with the carfax info and a trade in value was done very fair with the trade in vehicle. We are very happy with the decision that we made, going to Wallingford Auto Park was and will be a dealership that I will recommend and return for any auto purchases. I had researched a few cars on the internet, looking to replace my tired old one. On my way home from shopping,I figured I would stop in, and look at one of the cars that had caught my eye. So, I pull up, and a salesmen "Jim" is out the door as fast as I am out of my car, I think,"Good. this place has an attentive staff." He brings the car around, we test drive it, I point out a few flaws...It falls on deaf ears. I'm not saying, it's a bad car, It isn't. First of all, the Rims are chewed up, and the floor mats, aren't in the car.Fine, I would negotiate a lower price later.The more I talk to "Jim" the more it's becoming apparent to me, that I am boring him with annoying questions about my concerns.I do the standard tire kick, check under the hood, I am satisfied it's a solid car.He draws up a contract, I go home to get my Checkbook. I came back, and saw the price, had been marked up, As I try to negotiate, it's just short of eye rolling me, we got a creditor...blah, blah,just sign and drive.I should have contacted my creditor's because I could've financed the car at a much lower interest rate, like 4% lower.Of course as I am filling out the paperwork, they are using pens provided by the Credit provider...and it felt more condesending than friendly at this point. The car is brought around, no mats, chewed up rims, and no Owner's Manuel in the Glovebox.Full price, no haggling, No wonder "Jim" rushed me to sign off on the car before I received it.I am sure the weak handshake,mumbled congradulations, and inability to make eye contact as I took the keys, was the only testament, to having anything that resembles a human soul. Two days later, the wiper fluid won't dispense.Even though its an 11,000 car, its an 06, so if you want them to stand by their "Quality product" you need to "purchase" a warranty.Then, as I am inspecting the windshield, I notice a crack in the windshield along the top seam, I had missed.So, they can't provide working safety features like a working washer fluid pump, I have no confidence in their service department to conduct a safety inspection on their inventory, I will have to go through insurance to replace my windshield, and I plan to bring the car to my mechanic,because I have no Confidence in their business to do the work, or be honest about anything. Having bought both new and pre-owned vehicles over the past 40 years I have had a wide range of experiences with the sales and finance staff. Most were ok, but some were darn right rude. Walking into Wallingford Auto Park I was met within a minute by the manager, Marcello Onofrio, who then found a sales person to assist me. Rick Miller was very pleasant and immediately went to find the vehicle I was interested in seeing. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and we went for the obligatory short ride. Very interested in the car he introduced me the finance manager, Chris Dyer. Chris went over all the work that had been done on the vehicle to bring it to as perfect condition as possible. Not hesitating to show me the invoices as well as the car-fax report. Very pleased with their no haggle price policy. I walked away with a beautiful Toyota Solara convertible that looks almost new and drives great. The overall experience at Wallingford Auto Park was so great that I baked some cupcakes and dropped them off. Thanks Guys. Maria V. More

Michael was a great help and everyone at the dealership was very friendly. I came in looking for a Mazda 6 I had scene online and had no problem meeting with Michael and getting a test drive. Wallingford was the first place I went to check out the car and because of the friendliness and how they maintain their vehicles I had no reason to look anywhere else.
