VERY dishonest with the condition of their cars A year ago I purchased a 2009 Audi A4. A month later the alternator went and had to be replaced. About a month ago my battery needed to be replaced so A year ago I purchased a 2009 Audi A4. A month later the alternator went and had to be replaced. About a month ago my battery needed to be replaced so I took it to a local Audi dealership. The car would not start and it turns out this car was in TWO major accidents which I was not told when I purchased the car. This caused the door to become unaligned causing water to leak in a corrode the entire wiring system in the car. Audi service center couldn't even believe this car was sold under these conditions. This used dealership is very shady and I would NEVER purchase another car from this company. Their dishonesty is so unprofessional and cannot believe they are still in business. If you MUST buy from them I advise taking the car to be thoroughly looked at before purchasing, but if I were you I would avoid this company all together. More
"CAVEAT EMPTOR" - LET THE BUYER BEWARE A 2012 Nissan Maxima was purchased, 08/20/2016 for the sticker price of $16,000.00 When I initially called the "WALLINGFORD AUTO PARK" dealershi A 2012 Nissan Maxima was purchased, 08/20/2016 for the sticker price of $16,000.00 When I initially called the "WALLINGFORD AUTO PARK" dealership, I was connected with salesman, "Varese Leroux." I indicated that I'd seen the advertisement for 2012, crimson-black-metallic, Nissan Maxima… and was interested. I was greeted with the usual "used car salesman" gracious pretense. The first question I asked was, "Is the price negotiable?" The response was (and I quote), "Everything's negotiable." That was the FIRST STRIKE… as the price of the vehicle was never negotiable. However, that wasn't determined until I arrived at "Wallingford Auto Park" dealership… more than an hour's drive away from my home. Upon arrival and while seated at a desk toward the back of the building, Varese stipulated that the dealership doesn't like to price negotiate, but would consider throwing in some extras. I went along though I realized I was dealing with a reasonaably shallow person. The "EXTRAS" amounted to $40.00 check for an additional tank of fuel and a brand new set of Nissan floor mats (as the car didn't hve any. Nonetheless… the BRAND NEW NISSAN FLOOR MATS WERE NEVER RECEIVED, ergo… the negotiated extras weren't entirely provided; and it's reasonable to deduce that the BRAND NEW NISSAN FLOOR MATS were worth more than $40.00 worth of fuel. So, ultimately, I didn't even receive half the extras or value thereof. Further… when contacting Varese with regard to the "BRAND NEW NISSAN FLOOR MATS" I was told, "they were in the mail." Next time was, "Sorry, my bad… my wife was supposed to drop them to the post office, but didn't make it because she was very tired as she's pregnant." The final time I called, Varese stated, "they're on the way… I mailed them myself." The "BRAND NEW NISSAN FLOOR MATS" were never recieved by me or anyone else at my address… and the cell phone number Varese provided was fake. In addition, every time Varese proclaimed that the "BRAND NEW NISSAN FLOOR MATS" were "in the mail," he would ask if I had rated "WALLINGFORD AUTO PARK" dealership at "DealerRater.com/myreview. It was a if I had to deliver a good review/rating, before the "BRAND NEW NISSAN FLOOR MATS" were "rewarded" to me. Once again- NEVER RECEIVED. STRIKE 2! Moving on (though not sequentially), the financial aspect of the purchase was handled by business manager, CHRISTINA MCCUE. Though this went fairly smoothly, I took notice that the final tally, including, tax, registration, dealer processing fee, etc. was somewhat higher than anticipated. Come to find out, a "GAP INSURANCE POLICY," was added without my permission. I hadn't previously heard of this. Needless to say… I had the $1500.00 (thereabouts), "GAP INSURANCE POLICY," removed. STRIKE 3! Notwithstanding, in this situation… there's actually a STRIKE 4. It was later determined by the wife that the ADVERTISED "in-dash 6-disc CD changer" didn't exist. CD player yes… 6-disc CD changer-NO. This fact was conveyed to Varese and to whomever he saw fit. I may have received a call regarding this, but since the call came through as "RESTRICTED," it received the dial-tone. STRIKE 4! As the title reads- "LET THE BUYER BEWARE." I certainly wouldn't purchase another vehicle from the "WALLINGFORD AUTO PARK" dealership. More

BEST AUTO TRANSACTION EVER! Joe Scott made purchasing my used Volvo a delightful experience. He was courteous, friendly, punctual and easy going. He did everything to accommodate me and answered all of my questions. We met many times over the course of several days. At one point, I requested an inspection by my mechanic. On that morning, he had my car idling / warmed up ready for me to drive to my mechanic's garage at 8:30 AM. He also took care of a few minor concerns like a new fuel filter and the correction of a minor oil leak caused by a worn "O" ring. Car was detailed to perfection on the day I picked it up - It shined like a jewel even though it is a 2008. Joe filled the gas tank right before I drove away. I must admit that my jaded view of car salespeople changed dramatically after dealing with Mr. Scott. I used to think that buying a used car was an ordeal on par with going to the dentist. I picked up my car on a Wednesday and drove up to Vermont on Thursday for an overnight ski trip. It was 5 below zero on Friday morning and my car turned over without hesitation as if it had been parked overnight in a heated garage. Would highly recommend this dealership to everyone, Larry More
