My car's dead, took it to subaru 4 times with the same issues, it was timing....they kept telling me to drive it until it gave a code to find the real issue. Obviously thats bad advice instead of finding issues, it was timing....they kept telling me to drive it until it gave a code to find the real issue. Obviously thats bad advice instead of finding the problem. Now I'm out a car I still owe 6 grand on. I got ahold of the GM to explain how it's been here multiple times and it never got fixed. Actually got worse after last time, they recommended sparks and coils lmfao. Subaru had it brought to them and figure yea it's timing, but are unwilling to actually figure it out at this point. They'd have to take the front case off, but that's too much to ask for them to actually figure it out. Pointing the finger at the guy who put the motor in like yea he messed up.....just fix it! That's what I'm bringing it to Subaru for! All this is coming from the General Manager TC Baker. Since we're going in circles, i keep telling him you guys should have fixed it its been 4 times! He continues to tell me to call the guy who put it in.....for what? To scold him? Since when do mechanic shops blame someone who worked on it before instead of fixing the issue. Yesterday he offered lots of money towards a trade in. I told him I don't want to buy ANY car from his dealership. He asked me what I wanted to get out of this btw, I told him I wanted them to fix what should have been done the first time, but at this point it needs an engine. I was told he's a super nice guy and cares about his customers and reputation. Apparently not. Today he tells me either he can issue a repair credit.....not knowing what needs repaired or how much it costs for the repair. Or just drop it off at my house. I told him I don't trust his mechanics to fix anything! They've gotten over 2k from me but yet......literally still (AT THIS POINT) STILL don't actually know what to fix in my car. So it's just gonna be dead in my driveway now. Don't buy from Wallace Subaru in Johnson City!!! Please share this guy's. I know I'm not the only one getting shafted and I plan on exposing them. I know it's not a good idea to screw your neighbors. My business is just a couple blocks away and I see hundreds of people each day.....I'll be sure to let every single one of them know not to buy from Wallace! Thanks for nothing TC More
7.1.22 Another terrible experience with Wallace Subaru. After so many times of repair work on a new car, nothing ever gets resolved. It's usually even worse. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand After so many times of repair work on a new car, nothing ever gets resolved. It's usually even worse. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. No one takes responsibility, just passed around. Our dash was scratched during the replacement last time and today both interior doors are scuffed and scratched. We'll see if the new vapor barriers work this time after the 3rd time on this issue!! I took our 2012 Subaru Outback 3.6r in for a wheel bearing going bad in the front right. Service guy called me and said that the tech found that the front was absolutely fine and that The rear right w bearing going bad in the front right. Service guy called me and said that the tech found that the front was absolutely fine and that The rear right wheel bearing was bad. I told the service manager that the sound was definitely coming from the front right all you had to do was swerve the car at about 35 miles an hour and you could hear it when the car came around to the left you could even feel it in the wheel well. He assured me that the tech said that the front was fine and it was definitely the rear right. Went and picked up the car and as soon as I got on the road the same noise and vibration was there and even a little worse. Took it back and they had me ride with the service manager and he said yes the front right was definitely bad as we could both feel it and hear it! Left it there again overnight and the next morning they said yes they replaced the right front one now as well. I mentioned to them that the steering wheel after they aligned it was tilted to the right and no longer center and he said he would fix it. After picking it up today he said that yes the steering wheel was little to the right and the technician fixed it and it was perfectly straight… As soon as I got on the road the Steering wheel was definitely still to the right this time a little bit more and now the alignment is worse than before they changed the wheel bearing on the front! About $1300 for a bad wheel bearing and alignment that is worse than when I the brought the car in. They comped some of the Labor and told me that I had a free oil change due to the misdiagnose. They can keep it I’m not going back. More
Lies, lies and more lies. I don’t know how these people sleep at night. The extended warranty that was supposed to cover all kinds of things on my Forester really covers nothing. I’ve tried to have sever sleep at night. The extended warranty that was supposed to cover all kinds of things on my Forester really covers nothing. I’ve tried to have several things repaired under the warranty they sold me, but it would pay for nothing. Their service department must hire anybody with a heartbeat. I had a service manager once tell me there was no real difference between conventional and synthetic oil. After todays refusal to fix yet another problem with my Forester I will never deal with these people again. More
Bought new 5 years ago, great CROSSTREK at a fair price. It has been fantastic! Every time I have had service it’s been very good. Myra helped us this time and she was excellent! Salesman lied to us and then proceeded to not even care when confronted. Wouldn't tell us the interest rate of the loan they approved us for said it was against the law. when confronted. Wouldn't tell us the interest rate of the loan they approved us for said it was against the law. More

There is nobody in the Tri Ci have purchased from Wallace! All I can say is Glenn goes above and beyond to help you find the car you are looking for. There is nobody in the Tri Cities that even comes close to what Glenn does to make your car buying experience flawless and painless. I would recommend him for any of your car buying needs! A true professional and friend. Also Mr Barry in service is as good as it gets. This man will go out of his way to help you with any problems you may be having with your vehicle. I have dealt with a lot of service managers and Mr Barry is the best in the business. Wallace is EXTREMELY lucky to have these two and because they do I will continue to give them my business. More
