I don't mind to admit our credit isn't the greatest, but we ended up spending approximately seven hours at the car lot. We were just happy finally have a newer car, that wouldn't give us issues, and would allow us to travel more. Side note; Dennis lead us to believe it was required to do auto-deduct every two weeks, instead of monthly, and that the 2 year 24,000 warranty was included. Neither were true! Fast-forward two days to 06/04/2020. I'm driving to work. I get on to the on-ramp from 394 on to 11E, the car loses power on the ramp. My heart sinks in to my stomach. I had just spend $17,000 on a car, that broke down after two days. I got it on to 11E, parked on the shoulder, and turned the vehicle off. I waited 5 minutes, praying that it was a fluke, that I hadn't been taken for a ride by the dealership. I turned the car on, only to be disappointed, because the car still had no power ( wouldn't go above 2,000 RPM-Shift out of 2nd gear). The check engine light was also flashing. I called Geico to schedule a tow, called my wife to come get me, then immediately started looking for the warranty paper, and called the dealership. I spoke With Steven Pierce the Kia Sales Manager on the phone. I explained the situation, I may have sounded upset, but I never cursed, or was belligerent towards Mr. Pierce. I explained the situation, and that I was upset because I bought the car two days prior and spent almost 20 grand on it. His response, which still almost sends me in to a rage when I think about it, was "It doesn't matter if you spent 2,000 or 20,000, you're responsible for it, that's why we have you sign all that paper work" No empathy for the situation, no personal skills, no apologies, no reassurance that since I bought the warranty, it was more than likely going to be covered. Nothing. His first response to the situation was more or less, sorry, you signed the paper, the chunk of metal is yours. I'm sure he doesn't act that way when he is selling the cars, but of course once they leave the lot, who gives a crap. I was pretty angry at that point. I asked him to look at the situation like a fellow human, and asked how he would feel if I sold him something for $20,000, and it stopped working in two days. Of course he attempted every way possible to avoid answering that question. I hung up, I was furious. That evening, I had the car towed to the lot, and left the keys in the overnight box. The next morning, I called, and arranged a loaner car through the lot. By the time I got to the lot to pick it up, they were finished with my vehicle. It showed a knock sensor code, and they reset it, and did a software update, and it seems fine, but that wasn't the point of the review. Just be cautious with this lot. They will attempt to add things to the final cost of the vehicle, then as soon as you drive off the lot, you're old business to them. The salesman added items, and attempted to make me set my payments up around how he wanted, and the Kia Sales Manager Steven Pierce, treated me like I was thrown away trash, that didn't deserve the time of day. I will never forget the way I was treated by him, and I hope anyone who reads this won't forget so quickly either. Sales isn't, and never should never be a fly by night service. Sales is about building relationships and these guys aren't good at it. Also, a little extra. While I was waiting to get the paperwork where they worked on the vehicle, I spoke with the original salesman Dennis. As soon as I explained what had happened, He stated that it was awful and how sorry he was, and within 5 seconds of me explaining what happened, he said he had to help someone really quick and walked off. I assume he didn't want to deal with the aftermath of selling me a car in need of repair. I will also be listing this review on every other outlet I can find. It took a while to type out, but I hope you'll give it a read. It worth it. More

We dealt with Justin Vance a couple years ago and got a used dodge through Kia. It was our first car at a big dealership. He was great to deal with and really worked hard to get us in something descent at used dodge through Kia. It was our first car at a big dealership. He was great to deal with and really worked hard to get us in something descent at a low down payment. Well a year later after making almost every payment on time we attempted to trade it in for something else. Don’t remember the man we dealt with but he wanted to get us in a Nissan that had more miles than our dodge. We don’t like either brand so we turned that down. He refused to attempt to get us in anything else. Another year goes by and we still were making payments and good on all that. So we went back again to Kia (we had a younger male salesman) to try and trade in our dodge we got and financed through them. At the time I was working through a temp agency and so we were told to come back once I was hired on permanently. So we waited a couple months and when I finally got hired on we went back to the same salesman we were told that by (younger man on the side the garage is on) He runs it all with my info added to my husbands. He wanted to show us a new Kia and so we looked. Gave us the whole pitch of them running the numbers and waiting on the bank blah blah. Just to come back and tell us that my credit wasn’t good enough. Which they knew that the first time we came in and told us to still come back. They acted like all we needed was for me to get hired on and have a little down payment which we did and then returned. Kia waste a lot of our time when they should of just told us upfront that my credit needed to be higher. I can imagine the appraisal for our dodge wasn’t as much as we still owe on it. That’s okay though it was our first grown up purchase and we won’t be back to Kia even after I raise my credit. We don’t recommend anyone else waste your time there either unless your credit is near perfect and you have a co signer. Also they refused to even try to get us in a different used vehicle. Heck we just wanted out of a dodge. But the salesman refused to even run it to try and let us get in a different used vehicle. He wouldn’t even let us see the options he had. Just a total waste of time. Bad choices on our end. More

not a fair price for trade in A most unpleasant experience. I had negotiated a fair price for a new Kia Seltos and then came my trade-in nightmare. They offered me $9,000! Then they switched salesperson to Nick who was hard to deal with and I found unpleasant. We went back and forth -$10,000 then $10,500, then $10,900 and then it was obvious they wanted to not be fair. To start at $9,000 was an insult. I went to Courtesy Subaru in Kingsport and got a great deal with no hassles on a Subaru Crosstrek. More

Great I purchased a $5000 vehicle from Wallace and 2 days after I bought it, the vehicle ended up having several things wrong with it. So I thought I was s I purchased a $5000 vehicle from Wallace and 2 days after I bought it, the vehicle ended up having several things wrong with it. So I thought I was stuck with a vehicle that was a lemon. But thanks to Salesman Nicholas Dememtre I was able to trade in my vehicle for a $5000 credit on another vehicle at Wallace. So Nick said that he wanted me to have a reliable , safe vehicle that wouldn’t give me any problems and that I would be happy with. With Nicks hard work he found me a pre owned certified 2013 jetta tdi that I absolutely loved! So I traded in the $5000 car towards the purchase of my jetta...and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and my salesman Nick Demetre:) More
