While on the phone (Thurs 11MAY2023) b/c my son Alistair had called, I heard Brian yelling at him "what about you mother's truck, who's going to pay for that!!?" I told Alistair to put Brian on the phone so I can assure him I would be home from Jacksonville (I am on Navy orders here) to pay etc. When Alistair tried to hand him the phone, Alistair said "Here talk to my mom", Brian said " I don't F*xxxxx want to talk to her about her truck. Who's paying for it?" Then I heard him (Brian) have the phone and he (Brian) hung up on me. I have been utilizing Wallace Doge since moved to Stuart in 2004. I have a 2004 Ram (3rd one I've owned), and a 2019 Challenger Scat Pack. I will no longer EVER have ANY service done there b/c of Brian and his inappropriate treatment to me; a paying Navy Combat Veteran, customer. He had a problem with Alistair and did NOT handle it as a professional. He has not progressively written or progressively counseled him. He has cussed him out on the sales/ work area floor around other employees. He accused him of doing things yet there is no evidence or counseling write up. I was a grocery mgr. for Publix for many years before I enlisted in the Navy Reserves and hired into Martin County. That IS NOT how to handle issues with employees. My civilian job at Martin County in Field Ops, is with a bunch of construction folks. Even our supervisors DO NOT behave like that towards us. If there is a problem, they stay calm and then counsel, write up etc. in a progressive manner. In Dec 2022, Brian was made aware of an employee, Albert Destefano, who took a brand new, ready for pre delivery inspection, silver Ram truck and rock sprayed my son's car in the parking lot. It chipped his paint causing over $1000 worth of damage. I have the insurance papers to prove it. That same employee threatened workers with his pistol that he kept in his car on Wallace's employee lot or on occasion indicated it was on his person in the shop under his shirt.. Brain told Alistair "Just ignore the guy, he's quitting in a week. And if you turn in the damage to your car to Wallace, sure it'll get fixed but you won't have a job here." I went in Sat. 13MAY2023 to discuss the matter of his statement on the phone regarding my Ram truck, as a "Paying Customer" and he claimed he never said anything about my truck...LIE, I heard him as well as Alistair. In regards to the Destephano incident in Dec, pretended to not know anything about the incident. Another LIE b/c we were dealing with him and USAA on the matter. He complained about Alistair to me like Ali was a 12 yr old kid. I told him that he should address the employee issues professionally and progressively with the employee. I was there to discuss the facts of his statement on the phone and the damage to Alistair's car that is on MY USAA insurance. I told him that I would not be back as a paying customer because of how he spoke on the phone about my truck. And b/c he allowed Destephano to harass and damage other employees cars. I used to think dealerships had a certain required professionalism. Maybe in your parts dept. or your sales dept. there still is; I hope so. However, that Brain is in need of some serious "how to be a better mgr. and not a toxic bully" classes or find a different profession. He would NOT last one day in Publix or at Martin County.
