I hope this DOES NOT happen to anyone else. On June 6, I hope this DOES NOT happen to anyone else. On June 6, 2021, while searching for a new Chevy Silverado 2500HD, I found one “In-transit” at Wallace I hope this DOES NOT happen to anyone else. On June 6, 2021, while searching for a new Chevy Silverado 2500HD, I found one “In-transit” at Wallace Chevrolet in Stuart, Florida. I began to communicate with salesman Pat Malloy (nice guy) via phone at which time Malloy said the truck should be arriving at the dealer by June 16th. I began the process of purchasing the truck (proving a down payment, credit application, etc.) and the dealer agreed with me on a price for the new truck of $58,260 and agreed on a trade value for my truck (2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 Custom V8) of $39,000. Although the truck never arrived on June 16th, salesman Malloy continued to communicate with me until finally on June 30th, he contacted me that the truck had arrived. On the same day, I took the 3-hour drive from Miami, Florida to Stuart, Florida, to finally finalize the purchase. Upon my arrival at the dealer, I met with “William” who assisted me with the financing. While sitting with William, the numbers were not adding up, so I asked William what the selling price and trade value for my truck was. William stated selling price $63,260 ($5,000 over agreed price) and trade for my truck $38,000 ($1,000 less than what we had agreed). Because of the discrepancies, William spoke to Malloy and Malloy brought a manager by the name of “Wayne” to discuss the discrepancies. In short, manager Wayne stated he would sell the new truck for $58,260, but my truck’s value would not be what we agreed upon ($39,000) because the market had change and it was now worth $35,000 ($4,000 less than we had agreed). Nevertheless, manager Wayne refused to honor the original agreement and I was not able to purchase the truck. I drove 6-hours roundtrip never to imagine I would be treated this way by manager Wayne. I really hope this does NOT happen to anyone else, and I hope the owner(s) of Wallace Chevrolet put themselves in my shoes as a customer who, in good faith, drove a long way for nothing. Purchased a C8 corvette with Ed Vossen. Ed was always very informative and helpful. Although the vehicle is being sold above msrp at other dealers, Ed and Wallace Chevy kept their promise of keeping the very informative and helpful. Although the vehicle is being sold above msrp at other dealers, Ed and Wallace Chevy kept their promise of keeping the car at msrp when I made the deposit. Would definitely recommend. Nicholas from finance was great too and got me a great apr! More

I was bullied by the twelve year olds in the front and told i had to make a clai new car off their lot with a defect and they won’t let me return it! I was bullied by the twelve year olds in the front and told i had to make a claim with GM, asked to speak with the General Manager and got some kid that then gave me the general managers name and number on a business card. Is it normal to feel as though every time you go to a. Dealership you are utterly disrespected? I bought my truck here and it was such a mistake. Originally the salesperson told me in writing a vehicle wa Dealership you are utterly disrespected? I bought my truck here and it was such a mistake. Originally the salesperson told me in writing a vehicle was 4 wheel drive and so I went to test drive it wasn’t able to test drive it because it hadn't been through service yet. Was told I could wait until the truck was checked out to buy but it could sell at any minute if I leave. So I bought the truck. Next morning I just had a bad feeling and texted the sales person again “that’s a 4 wheel drive right?” She sad no it’s a 2 wheel drive when she knew my needs included it being a 4 wheel drive. I had to cancel the purchase and the manager says to me “sweetie didn’t you notice there were no stickers on the back?”. Then they deposited my check after I canceled the purchase so I felt I had to go with them. They called me, they found another truck for me. Okay I go see the truck checks all the boxes I say explicitly all I want is the truck, leather added and the extended warranty nothing else. I get the paper work emailed to me that they had added in “auto butler” for $300. They had told me your truck will be ready Monday or Tuesday (I bought the truck on a Thursday) the truck took over a week and a half to be delivered to me. The manager even said “if you get lonely you have my personal number so call me any time”. The registration was another issue, it took MONTHS for them to get me a hard plate, because the truck was still registered to the ORIGINAL OWNER AS I WAS DRIVING IT. They had to call the previous dealership and get the title released. Let’s fast forward. I have to go in for auto butler because it is now time to do that. I get a call saying will you confirm your apt for tomorrow? Yes they had said it needed to be washed before I brought it in, I live in Okeechobee so do I need to Re wash it when I get to Stuart? No ma’am it will be fine. I drop my truck off and they tell me if it’s not clean enough on the outside auto butler won’t do their clear coat. I drove an hour to get this done and dedicated my day to handling this. They call me 1 hour 45 mins later telling me it will be $20 to wash my truck. I realize $20 isnt a lot of money but it’s frustrating that these people can’t get what they are requiring straight. So I leave the dealership and go to a store 1.5 miles down the road and was planning on shuttling back. I called and asked for a Shuttle back the service advisor says okay I’ll Have the shuttle driver call you. 45 mins later he calls me and says he can come get me. I have already walked a mile towards the dealership by time he would Have picked me up, I would have been even closer. I get there and the service advisor who I had spoken to earlier says did “—-“ give you a ride back I said no I walked I waited 30 mins and then started back. He says “well you should have called I would have come gotten you”. I did call him. That’s who I spoke to at this point an hour ago. He says sorry like with a shrug. Come over here to pay. Wallace Chevrolet is by far the most unprofessional group of people I have EVER worked with. I do not recommend anyone deal with them unless they would like to be treated with the utmost disrespect even after the purchase. It’s tough to get any help when the one manager has hit on you and the other talks down to you so who do you call when you have a problem? Not sure but they have utterly ruined my day! More

We had the worst experience trying to buy a used SUV. My daughter and I went to the dealership, told them Exactly what she could afford, Exactly how much she could pay each month, she told them her Credit s daughter and I went to the dealership, told them Exactly what she could afford, Exactly how much she could pay each month, she told them her Credit score, her payments now, her Lender...EVERYTHING. They kept us there trying to sell her the SUV with high payments! She said no can not afford. We left. The Manager calls two days later, emails a deal! The payments are perfect! They want us there tonight! She leaves work early, we rush there, she SIGNS all the papers, the deal we agreed on, the one the mananger emailed me, the car is brought up out front, THEN the last minute another guy comes out, bad news the payments are sixty dollars higher!! WHY did you call us back? Why did you make a deal? This is the worst experience and we will NEVER recommend this place again. THEY SUCK More
The used car department is horrible to work with. I have been trying to purchase a corvette z06 from them and they would not work with my circumstance being out of town for a week and a half. I was negotiat been trying to purchase a corvette z06 from them and they would not work with my circumstance being out of town for a week and a half. I was negotiating for over 3 weeks on the price of the vehicle with them. I had to travel to Pensacola for hurricane restoration efforts. I sent 2 people to drive from Miami to see the car, offered a $5000 dollar non-refundable deposit (only refundable if i found a major mechanical issue), got approved for Financing, and even offered to move forward with financing on their end. I think i made it very clear that i wanted to purchase the car. The salesman did not want to work with me and hold the car for me for 10 days till i could get to town and sign the papers. Mind you the car has been on the lot for 40 days. I called to talk to Mark Warren, sales manager, and he would not talk to me and had to play back and forth with the dealer receptionist. STAY AWAY!! I received an extended warranty with my car but I begged them not to put me on any mailing lists. Of course I am flooded with emails, text messages and the inevitable FAKE mailings trying to get me to come in for repairs and now another mechanical coverage notice. Writing in bold red letters SECOND NOTICE is beyond courteous. This is something debt collectors do. I have called your offices several times to get my name off of your mailing lists. You will not do so, so I have no choice but to inform the public. This is your FIFTH NOTICE to take me off of your lists. I will NEVER go to Wallace Chevrolet again. They do NOT respect your privacy.
