This review is for the service department. I brought my Subaru in with a check engine light last year. I was told that it needed a head gasket replacement which costs over $2000 because of oil I brought my Subaru in with a check engine light last year. I was told that it needed a head gasket replacement which costs over $2000 because of oil leaking. I was upset at the prospect of paying so much to fix an older car, so I brought my car to a local garage for a 2nd opinion. My garage said there was some normal seepage but not an oil leak. If there was leaking I would see smoke, which I did not. They said to keep driving it. I am still driving it ok over one year later! The W&L service dept. in my experience is aggressive with it's recommendations. They also previously told me I need my brake pads replaced, and when I brought it to my local garage I was told the brakes were still good for a while. (This is when I brought it in for unrelated warranty work.) So, think twice before bringing your car here. Beware if the service dept. recommends expensive repairs and get a second opinion. I will only come back for warranty work since it is the only Subaru dealership around. More
