The reason a brand new car has a dead battery is because, in the dealer trade, the previous dealership left the lights on, or the doors open, etc. It's not the buyer's fault (me), and probably not the fault of the selling dealership (you). I'm not inclined to put useless miles on my new car because someone burned out my battery before the sale. I've been a long time customer of Simonson. I bought my first new car from you (a gold 280 C in the '70's; a silver/red SLR from Marcus in '05, etc,). If you don't want to install a new battery, I'll take a battery tender for the S580 and install it myself.
