Good Place to Buy a Car This was my second car purchase. Three years ago I purchased a Sonata and had a very satisfactory experience. After paying off that car for 0% financ This was my second car purchase. Three years ago I purchased a Sonata and had a very satisfactory experience. After paying off that car for 0% financing, I recently returned to purchase a Santa Fe Sport and found the same good car buying experience. My service experience with the Sonata over a three year period was always timely and trustworthy; I look forward to the same good service when I bring in my Santa Fe. I would highly recommend this dealership for your future car needs. More
Thomas Kelley My 2011 Sonata had a steering rattle. Staff very unkindly discounted it to be a characteristic of the vehicle. Yet 3 hours later Hidy Hyundai diagnose My 2011 Sonata had a steering rattle. Staff very unkindly discounted it to be a characteristic of the vehicle. Yet 3 hours later Hidy Hyundai diagnosed it as a defective steering rack and is fixing it, plus provided a loaner vehicle. Service depertment at Voss treated me in an inferior manner. Perhaps due to my age. None the less its discrimination and is unacceptable in any service industry. More

In comparison to other dealers, the ease of experience was literally second to none. I felt it was important to her that I make the best decision for myself, get the car I wanted at the price I needed. My first visit was ok. I was not able to stay, but I was not in any rush to go back. Then, I went online and sign-up for a car buying program and ended up dealing with a completetly different sales person not in any rush to go back. Then, I went online and sign-up for a car buying program and ended up dealing with a completetly different sales person and after a couple of weeks of going back and forth to get the best price and deal, I went into meet the sales person and buy the car. I attempted to access my account for the down payment matching program and got lock out after 5 tries. The dealership allowed me to take the vehicle on a extended text drive since it was a holiday weekend. During that visit I found out that the downpayment matching program had to be open for 30 days before I could use, but we will needed to find out if there was any where around it, since their office was closed for the weekend. I came back after the holiday to purchase the vehicle, but was informed that I will need to wait until the 30 days after the date the account was open to get the vehicle. I explained that I needed the vehicle today because I did not have any transportation if there was any way around it because vehicle price included that discount. To my dismay, after I told the sales associate that I was not going to take the vehicle since the price included that discount, so he went into speak to the sales manager who came out to speak to me. During that conversation that sales manager was rude,arrogant and condescending. I felt that part of it was because I was a female and I was by myself or he was just having a bad day, but I did not take it likely. Anyway, after hours of trying to find a ride to go home, I decide to speak to that manager who never once came over to apologize, I decided to be the bigger person and apologize. I feel that when you are in the position as a General Manager or Sales Manager, you should be respectful of your customer and that is the reason for my rating and I will not recommend this dealership to any one. More

After a horrible experience at Jeff Wyler Hyundai (see below) I contacted Voss Hyundai via e-mail with the car I wanted, the color I wanted, and the price I wanted- I was contacted within ten minutes! I told them I did not even want to talk unless they could meet my specific demands- they did! I filled out the application after work (took about ten minutes)... I returned the next day to sign all the official paperwork (about 20 minutes) and then I had my new car! Too get there I had to go through this: My husband and I visited the Jeff Wyler Hyundai in Springfield looking for a new commuter car. It took us about three weeks to research and decide on the car we wanted. We decided on a silver 2009 Sonata with "$16,545 plus take an addt'l $1000 off for military and $500 off for Loyalty" listed on the windshield. After sitting down with Kelly, the salesman, we discussed the price and was told $2000 was Hyundai rebates and the rest was dealer incentive. We asked if we could have the same car and package but in a different color- Kelly told us "yes" it would be no problem. The lot had 62 Sonata's to choose from. We started the paperwork process, and I was return the next day at my lunch hour to sign all the paperwork and choose the color car I wanted. When I showed up the next day- I walked on the lot and selected Willow Gray. The salesman and I returned inside and went to Tony's (the Hyundai sales manager) office... here is where things got ugly! Tony told me he did not have a Sonata on the lot for the price: $16,545. We argued about this for a couple of minutes before I told him I would show him. He walked up to two silver Sonata's and said- "Nope." I pointed to the one I looked at and had test driven. He walked over to it and said, "The price must be a mistake, I can't let you have this car for the price listed." I asked to see his boss and he told me his boss was Jeff Wyler and he has not been around in three to four weeks. Then, Tony said I could have the silver Sonata for the price but no other Sonata for the price. When I asked why, he said, "Because we must have taken possession of the car earlier than the others and that is why we are able to offer the price." I told him,"Then it is worth it for me to call other dealers." He threw up his hands and said, "Do what you want," and walked away. I contacted Voss Hyundai by email when I returned to work- listing the car model, features, and price and told them to contact me only if they could sell me the car I wanted for the price I wanted, in the COLOR I wanted. I got a call ten minutes later! I went to Voss Hyundai after work and completed the paperwork! I am now driving my new Sonata- no thanks to Jeff Wyler Hyundai! More
