Service Department Safety Concern We recently had the 45,000 mile service accomplished on our S-60, The rear brake pads were replaced without regard for the scored discs; but this is We recently had the 45,000 mile service accomplished on our S-60, The rear brake pads were replaced without regard for the scored discs; but this is not my main complaint. According to the service manager, one of our tires was cupped causing an obvious road noise I had originally thought was caused by the brakes. They rotated the tires at my request to help determine which tire was the problem tire. My complaint is they obviously didn't inspect the tires either during their multi point inspection or during the rotation. The faulty tire (moved from rear to front) was actually cracked (conspicuous) through the center of the tread, and not cupped. I had a Michelin dealer replace the tire but am disappointed an unsafe tire was actually put on the front of our car with no suggestion of having it replaced nor mention of its condition. Brent Wolf was very patient with me and always conducted himself courteously and professionally... Not sure, but I think they write their own customer satisfaction reviews? More
Volvo snow bird I only come once a year, & always dealt with the same person for years. When I discovered my guy was gone, I felt like I was lost & wasn't hopeful as I only come once a year, & always dealt with the same person for years. When I discovered my guy was gone, I felt like I was lost & wasn't hopeful as I've seen how good places can change for the worst. Well I was wrong! The new Service Manager was very accommodating, helpful, & attentive. I told him of my uncertainties of continuing business with Volvo of Tucson. He understood my concerns, & said that he would be checking on my vehicle personally. Also the technicians working on my vehicles have been with the dealership for a very long time & he puts a high level of trust in all of them. Garret followed through with everything he said & more. He let me know what was a priority on my car & what wasn't, due to the 8 months out of the year my Volvo just sits. This was actually the best experience I've had & I look forward to coming here more than my local Volvo dealer in Wisconsin. To top it off my car was cleaned very well. I will be returning for years to come & hope Garret stays for the long haul. More

Car problems while visiting We were here visiting from San Diego and all of a sudden the car dashboard announced that there was a serious problem and it needed to be dealt with r We were here visiting from San Diego and all of a sudden the car dashboard announced that there was a serious problem and it needed to be dealt with right away. I called Richard Lake and he was extremely helpful, suggested that I have it towed and arranged to get me to the rental car place. He made a very uncomfortable situation so much better and gave us excellent advice along the way. The car was repaired so quickly that I was amazed. He is exceptional! More
