I Mean where do I start. This Volvo is absolutely horrendous in customer service in every manageable way they can be. for the last two years every time you try to make an app This Volvo is absolutely horrendous in customer service in every manageable way they can be. for the last two years every time you try to make an appointment 6 weeks out. This last week i had an appointment that the lady booked for me within a week, i was so surprosed. Then i get sick that week and had to reschedule so i cancel, then i call in and they said 2 months till i can get my car in. My car is flashing ON CALL. I mean how can you have a luxury dealership with such horrendous service. I don't get it. The manager replies to my yelp today saying best of luck there are great other Volvo dealerships. I mean the audacity and the trash service don't even begin to describe this place. Stay away from a VOLVO and stay away from this place MOST DEFINITELY. More
They do not know how to communicate with a customer and now I am out of my car for two days. My advisor was a guy name Ben and he told me that he will give me a call around 1 pm on the day I dropped my vehicle at 9 am to let me know what is needed and what the cost will be. I did not receive any call from him so I called back at 3 pm. A lady told me he was at lunch and she will have him call me back. I waited until 4 pm and called back. Finally, Ben answered and the work will cost me close to a $1000 and needed my approval to perform the work. I asked why he did not call me to discuss earlier and he did not say anything. I approved the work and he promised me that it will be done by early afternoon of next day. Following day and called again for update at 8 am. Ben answered and told me that he will let me know when it is done. I asked for brake service since he told me that would be needed very soon. He said, he will find out if all of that can be done today from a mechanic by 3 pm. I did not receive a call until 3:30 pm. I called around 4 pm and Ben told me that the mechanic that was working on my vehicle was off today and he did not know that until I called at 4 pm for him to go out to talk to the technician. Now I am out of car again for second day. Ben told me that he will have someone else work on the car tomorrow to finish the work but I do not know if I can trust that. Maybe I get this kind of service because I am an Asian? I do not like to think that and as a veteran, I just hope that it gets better from here Update: I called again on following morning, today, to get an update. The front desk lady told me that Ben is off today. REALLY? And he did not have decency to let me know that he was going to be off on following day, yesterday? Now the front desk lady was trying to resolve this issue for me. She promised me that she will call back an hour later and she did. She informed me that she spoke to the manager and promised me a loaner vehicle for me to drive so I can go to work while my car is in the shop. I will see if that actually happens. UPDATE 2: I got a loaner vehicle same day she promised me. I am hoping that the this issue is only pertain to certain part of the dealership. Now I wait for my vehicle to be fixed. Let's see how long that takes. I brought up another star due to the service provided by the Admin lady that works at the service center. More
I rated for one star that’s because there is no negative star. I was referred to this Volvo dealer by Costco auto buy program which was disaster. The sales man tried to convince me that he was giving a star. I was referred to this Volvo dealer by Costco auto buy program which was disaster. The sales man tried to convince me that he was giving a big discount by showing the car price which was $3,840 higher than the sticker price!!! Simply DON’T GO TO THIS VOLVO DEALER for any business. This dealership continues to email me fraudulent ads by stating $0 down, $0 first months payment, $0 security deposit and $0 due at signing. When I went to inquire about a lease deal for this, I was told stating $0 down, $0 first months payment, $0 security deposit and $0 due at signing. When I went to inquire about a lease deal for this, I was told there are no cars under this deal... The sales rep even told me this was simply done to get people to come into the dealer. I will not put that rep's name here, because I believe this is fraud by the dealer, not the sales person... Will never do business with them... More
Rude and unprofessional service team, I stopped by asking about reprogramming my Key and do Polestar optimization. I got quota for a cheaper price from another dealership service department. When i told him about reprogramming my Key and do Polestar optimization. I got quota for a cheaper price from another dealership service department. When i told him about the price he didn't believe me and said it's impossible. when I assured him that i'm not lying he said "I will call the dealership, because that's impossible" and yes he did call them in front me (Rude) he was shocked when he found out i'm not lying. After all of that he said "Sorry I can't do that for you". Why would he said It's impossible then call them to check and once he finds out he says that? at least be respectful and say you can't do it then go check later, don't call me a liar and be a rude person. There is a good reason why this dealership is rated the lowest of all the Volvo locations. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VEHICLE KNOWLEDGE ! The dealership General Manager does not answer customer comp lowest of all the Volvo locations. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VEHICLE KNOWLEDGE ! The dealership General Manager does not answer customer complaints that are affecting his operation, and is basically invisible. Brad, the service manager, says he is sorry for the problems caused, but it's only lip service so far. That dept. has had several opportunities to prove they are competent, but has failed each time. There are other examples, such as NO knowledge about how their system works on the new android system in the Recharge. All they have is button pushers that try to figure it out, wasting time. Why haven't they been trained ? I hope everyone gets the picture by now. More
I have purchased at least ten cars in the past 20 years, and this was the best car buying experience by far. The entire team I worked with from the sales associate, sales manager, to financing were straight and this was the best car buying experience by far. The financial advisor has the worst customer service ever! He made us feel uncomfortable because we are a minority. He really didn't treat with respect. He probably thought we couldn't afford a Volvo. A ever! He made us feel uncomfortable because we are a minority. He really didn't treat with respect. He probably thought we couldn't afford a Volvo. At some point, he said, "I'm sure we can find something to fit your lifestyle." Just because we were negotiated with him about the price of the vehicle, as all consumers should do. Try to negotiate for the best deal. It was such a terrible experience to have to end our purchase of a new Volvo with him in the fianance department. He was so condensing and rude. We declined the service contract and he said, "We will see you, when you car needs service." Repairs are very costly. He was making us feel like we will regret not making the purchase on the warranty or maintenance service, which implies we are making a stupid decision. This person doesn't deserve to work in that position and he needs training to be unbiased and prejudice against Latinos. More
Do not assume your in good hands because you went to OC Volvo dealer for service. I have a 2017 V90 Cross Country lemon. I have had my Volvo in several times for the same reasons. The radio will not shut o Volvo dealer for service. I have a 2017 V90 Cross Country lemon. I have had my Volvo in several times for the same reasons. The radio will not shut off after car has been turned off, in addition to rough shifting, lurching when coming to a stop and brake grabbing! Most recent service June 2020, problem solved... for 3 weeks! Radio is back, will not turn off when car is off and driver door opens! Best part of all of this! Volvo has designed a new software upgrade ($1,500) named Polestar. It addresses the issues of rough shifting, lurching when coming to a stop and brake grabbing. Not that long ago this would be considered a recall. Which means at the mfg expense they fix known dangers "to the operation of the vehicle" bugs! Not Volvo, they package it, design it, market it to be a wonderful upgrade to Volvos. I'm done. Love the new style BUT that alone is not worth the investment of owning one of these headaches. Could be why we hardly see newer models on the road. More
