I went into the showroom to "look". I was met by Ron and Patrick who ultimately attended to me. They were both helpful and gracious and worked on finding what I was looking for and Patrick did! He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions, offered suggestions, prepared all the documents and kept in touch with me daily to advise me of what I would need and when the car would be ready. He also helped negotiate with pricing. His friendly manner made me feel very comfortable and at no time did I feel intimidated.- quite the contrary. Everything was done with ease and hassle free. My car arrived two days ago, Patrick worked with my insurance group (The Petrocelli Group - who are excellent) and I was ready to go in no time. This morning I went to pick it up - Matthew Villacis met with me and explained every inch of the contract and answered all my questions thoroughly and provided me with copies of all items. He too was very accommodating and rechecked all the numbers and that the personal info was listed correctly. Ron Herring ensured that I was taken care of and offered the best price possible and did even better for me price wise in the end. (thank you Ron and Matthew for that!!). Finally, Patrick walked me to my new "beautiful" car and explained all the details and every button and told me to call him at anytime as he was available to help. And I know he will be. Thank you so much Patrick! This woman is very happy! More
Vechile delivered with defective headlight. Dealer refused r I purchased a 2019 cx40 on 1/31/2019. 5 days after purchase I realized the headlights did not work. The next morning I notified the sales rep who sol I purchased a 2019 cx40 on 1/31/2019. 5 days after purchase I realized the headlights did not work. The next morning I notified the sales rep who sold us the car. I was taold i would get a return call detailing where it take for service and pick up a loaner vechile. After several in answered calls and and hours passed we got an appointment to drop off the vechile and pick up the loaner. This is my letter to as to what happened next. Good day, After some 4 hours of waiting, no communication and unfriendly service I continue to be dissatisfied with the service from Volvo of Queens. After arriving to the service station we were told this one-week old vechile needed a part that had to be ordered from Germany. We were not given any time frame for the repair of the vechile. Just that the part has to be orderd from Germany. After many phone calls to Howard Hall, the sales rep who sold us the car and Melissa Evans the general manager , hours of waiting and being shuffled around from the service site to a car rental we were finally given a loaner vechile. To be exact; a VW Passat sedan. I purchased a Volvo XC40 January 31st 2019. I spent much time deliberating over a purchase and decided on Volvo for its saftey standards. I don't see how this is acceptable in anyway compensation for a luxury SUV. If this is one week into what is intended to be a long relationship im affaid of the service to come. THIS IS NOT THE SERVICE I EXPECT FROM VOLVO. I've owned and driven a volvo since 2010. I love my Volvo vehicles, however this experience is making us all rethink continuing a relationship. I am asking that Volvo replace the vechile OR buy it back and let go to another dealership who appreciates it's customers. More

Smooth - Friendly - Fair - Competent We are from Brooklyn and the Bay Ridge dealer had closed (not surprisingly - they were horrid). We had many options - New Jersey, Manhattan and Long Island. we started at Queens and didn't need to go any further. We were buying a fully loaded 2019 XC40 R Design with Polestar. We had narrowed down our color choice to one possibility. They ahd the car in stock - gave a us a fair trade-in on our Subaru and Branden took acre of the rest. Branden is a low-key, friendly and attentive sales rep. He fully knew about the car and even though there wasn't much to sell (we already knew exactly what we wanted) he was able to make the sale process completely relaxed and easy. The entire process was efficient and attentive and we're happy we didn't need to go "shopping" at multiple Volvo dealers. More

Expected Better Service I have been getting my Volvo serviced at this center for the past few times in the past couple of years and the service at the front desk (Tammy F.), I have been getting my Volvo serviced at this center for the past few times in the past couple of years and the service at the front desk (Tammy F.), has been exceptional. On this occasion I was expecting better service of my car. I brought it in for a Brake Booster Sensor replacement and although that was done without an issue, there was no additional checkup done. The tire pressure system light was on and I was not informed if they encountered/suspected anything wrong with that. Washer fluid light was on and not replenished, ( I know it is not a requirement but in the past I have received that complimentary service). Lastly, the car was returned unwashed and although I didn't expect it to be detailed, I did see other cars being returned washed. I was in a tight schedule and that is the reason I did not make my concerns known to Tammy or anyone else in the center. But, I expected better service as I have in the past. More

My problem seems to be fixed. My Volvo V70 had a water leak whenever it rained. At, first after hours of labor, the mechanics tried to tell me there was no leak, which was impossible. I was definitely stressed out, and at the moment I felt that they were incompetent. However, I insisted that they try to locate the problem. Upon further diagnostics they changed the cowel, heater box and some other pieces as well. When they took the cowel out they broke my windshield which they replaced on the house which I appreciated. As a courtesy they also changed my cabin air filter and topped off my fluids. The car was also nicely washed when I picked it up. After about a month of service and waiting on parts I finally got my car. The service coordinator Tammy was a great liaison and gave me a 10 percent veteran/ first responder discount. I just wish they knocked some hours of labor off, where they couldn’t locate what the problem was. In the end I’m satisfied and I hope my 2004 Volvo V70 lasts another 130,000 miles. More

Failed to repair brakes and provided wrong accessories I went in for 3 tasks, they have miserably failed in 2. - Pretty new car < 10K miles, breaks where noisy and shaky at high speed. DID NOT REPAIR - Bought a ski rack, provided me only with the load bars, but not the ski rack in a box. Came home to install and discovered it. (Also ended up finding the original volvo parts cheaper on the web). I will need to lose work to visit the service department again. More
