Horrible Experience On the first visit we almost left the dealership after not being greeted. Once we finally got service everyone at the dealership seem very friendly a On the first visit we almost left the dealership after not being greeted. Once we finally got service everyone at the dealership seem very friendly and willing to negotiate on a new XC90. After a week of email and telephone negotiations we finally agreed on a price. I made it very clear that I was not willing to finance over a certain amount because my loan was already approved with USAA. I explained to Tony and Matt that if we could not get the out the door cost (including warranties) under than amount I would happily continue my search for a different vehicle. Within a few days I received an email accepting my offer. The dealership was able to accept my offer by not adding the ad valorem tax of Georgia (requiring me to register the vehicle Texas my own home of record). However, I do not live in Texas nor do I have a POA to have someone register the vehicle for me in Texas. Not to mention the Texas taxes where not added to the loan finance sheet and now have to be paid up front (approximately $3,900. plus title transfer and registration fees). I contacted the dealership 38 days after buying the vehicle because my temp tags were going to expire within a week and they had yet to send any registration paperwork so that I could begin to sort the mess that was created. My temporary tags expire in 2 days and I have yet to receive any paperwork from the dealership. I have purchased many vehicles through my military career and I have never been faced with this problem. The dealership never asked in what state I was going to register the vehicle they assumed because I had a TX DL I would register it out of state. When I call Nathan Butler to get information in order to sort this mess I can’t seem to get a return call (I’m lucky when I get an email). I would not recommend using this dealership. Update: I received the new temp tags for my XC90. They extended the expiration date until June 1st (2 weeks). However, I have to register this vehicle in Texas by mail. Buying a new car has NEVER been so stressful. More
