My experience at Volvo of Westport was an absolute joy. I contacted them in search of a used car and was greeted on the telephone by friendly staff members. After searching for over a month and a half for I contacted them in search of a used car and was greeted on the telephone by friendly staff members. After searching for over a month and a half for a new car and being left with a bad taste from dealing with high pressure salesmen, I was assigned to Dan Doig who I must say made me feel comfortable instantly. I explained my previous unpleasurable experiences while shopping for a new car and Dan approached me with kindness, courtesy and a no pressure sales approach. Communication was always clear and prompt which I appreciated greatly given that I was buying the car without physically seeing it since I was 2 states away. Upon agreeing on a great price for the vehicle and getting all the paperwork in order I took a trip to Volvo of Westport to pick up the car. When I arrived in the parking lot and before I even got out of the car, Dan was waiting for me outside with a smile and great handshake. I was also greeted warmly by the entire staff at the dealership. We went to look at the car and it was in excellent condition, exactly as Dan had described. Needless to say I left with the car and a smile because I was extremely pleased with my entire experience from start to finish. Buying a car has always been my least favorite activity but that has changed now. In the future I will always buy my vehicles from Volvo of Westport.
