John and Lee couldn't have been more helpful, clear, and friendly. These cars are in high demand and hard to come by (I know because I scoured Craig's List for several weeks and I had a buddy who is a Ford dealer in Rye look for me as well). To add to the difficulty of our transaction, we live in California and wanted to drive the car home. John and Lee got everything organized for us, and they stood by their product when an ABS light indicated brake issues. It took a few trips to the shop (always a loaner for me and never a wait), but they got the problem solved (loose connection in the steering column). We used to live in Westport and always serviced our Volvo with Volvo of Westport. Should we return one day, we will certainly remain loyal customers, and we will always steer people your way. Lee Weston did a superb job with our purchase of a 2011 Volvo C-30. His handling of this sale was as special as the car we purchased. Living in VA, we located the exact car my wife wanted (the only one we could find), in Westport, CT. Initially, we thought the car had been sold to another party and we were very disappointed. However, after @48hrs, Lee contacted us to let us know that the deal had not gone through and we could put a deposit on the car if we wanted it. Again, after @48hrs, we contacted Lee and made the deposit. About six days later, we headed for Westport on Friday morning hoping to get delivery of the car later that day. Even though it was Lee's scheduled day off, he told us to contact him and he'd be there for the actual sale and delivery. Traffic and weather conditions delayed our journey and we had to tell Lee that we couldn't make it to the dealership prior to closing time, even though he was there waiting. We met Lee for the transaction Sat. morning and we couldn't be happier with both the car and Lee's excellent customer service. We felt like we'd known him all of our lives and he oriented us on the area and made recommendations for entertainment and food options. Just a fantastic experience....thank you, Lee. John Daley was also extremely helpful in making the financial transactions and coordinating the paperwork. Furthermore, he coordinated the tax payment to the State of VA and is coordinating the tax and title, as well. John's customer service is great too. I must say, we didn't meet anyone at Volvo of Westport that wasn't friendly and accommodating. I would certainly do business with them again and I truly wish they would relocated to Northern VA. 1st impression of the dealershp as I entered the doors was how friendly and accomodating the atmosphere was. Althouh initially all the sales personnel were attending aother clients, the Sales Manager introduced himself and got me started with a test drive in the car I was interested in. When I got back from the test drive my sales associate was available and we sat down to discuss my interests, my thoughts about what I was looking for in a new vehicle. Friendly and with professional courtsey Lee took the time to learn about me and my views on lookin gfor a new car and when asked began to talk with me about the Volvo and in particular the new 2013 S60 I had shown interest in. There was no feeling of being rushed by Lee a we discussed all the pros/cons, trims, options, etc.. about the car. I came away from this first meeting feeling that I was treated with respect, and as a friend as if we were already in a log term relationhsip. I visted a few more dealers and experienced thier form of salesmanship - which I must say was far from satisfying. Back to Lee at volvo of Westport to discuss final details about the car and making the final decision to Purchase my new 2013 S60 from Lee and the dealership. Business manager (George) - carefully explained any new options that could be added to car - ( I choose the tire and wheel hazard). I was never the typical hard sell, just a professional presentation of availabe options. Business meeting over - Lee Greets myself (and daughter) with Roses as a thank you for beginning the friendship and of course purchasing the car. Lee and I and daughter began the fun part of learning how to work some of the more important components of the car (making sure the Phone linked to the bluetoooth in the car, Stereo operations, safety operations (lights, mirrors, belts, etc..)and with a handshake and a wave I was off on a new adventure. You want a dealership to be friendly, to make you feel comfortable, and to feel that the price you paid for the car was fair for both of you. What can I say? I wish all experiences, in life, were as easy as buying a new Volvo, from Volvo of Westport. If you had told me back in July 2000, after going round and round, on what color to buy my as easy as buying a new Volvo, from Volvo of Westport. If you had told me back in July 2000, after going round and round, on what color to buy my new 2001 (my first ever Volvo), I would still be talking Volvo in 2012...I wouldn't have believed you. At that time, my salesmen was Peter Themel, he introduced me, to his patience and honest manner. In the years that followed, I returned to his desk many times when my baby was in for routine service. At 75,000, 100,000, 125,000 miles ...is it time to jump? Well, it was not. Last week, it was and Peter was on vacation. So I was given to Lee Weston to discuss the possibility of finding a replacement for my 163,000 mile car. It was tough but Lee was amazing. I sat with him last Tuesday from 9;30-1 pm...who would do that for a customer? Lee would!! We went over all the different options...whether to stay with a wagon or go for the XC60. Well...I would have gone XC60, love the car and the money deal...amazing...but the dog, hated it. Yes, poor Lee agreed, happily (it seemed) to my bringing the dog in to try it, not once but twice.....the dog rules. He's more comfortable in the wagon, tall dog. I'm totally on board, now, with the wagon. Besides knowing the product, I'm driving, to be one of the best (my old Volvo saved my life), I'm thrilled knowing I don't have to be introduced to another service department, at another car dealership. So very happy! The service at Volvo of Westport, is something you don't let go of, too quickly. They are considerate, fair , ready to work with you, immediately, to get your car back on the road...I can not say enough about George and the work he is doing for customer satisfaction...as you can tell, I'm more then satisfied with the outstanding, Sales & Service of Volvo of Westport...and so excited to have another 12 years to look forward too...as I said, wouldn't it be nice, if all life experiences were this easy? Lee was extremely helpful in creating a unique Volvo experience. He helped me surprise my wife with a C70 convertible for 40th birthday present. All of these additional touches added up to create a tremendous experience for my wife and me. Lee's willingness to recognize the personal side of this transaction created a strong sense of loyalty to Volvo. His approach was absolutely perfect from a customer satisfaction perspective and I can not thank him enough for creating a very special family memory. More

I have had two routine service visits since purchasing my V70 on October. The work is done as promised with a detailed explanation of cost beforehand.
