I wanted to send a note of thanks for my service experience this past Monday, September 21, 2020. It was my first time to Volvo of Princeton, as I recently purchased my vehicle used from a nearby de experience this past Monday, September 21, 2020. It was my first time to Volvo of Princeton, as I recently purchased my vehicle used from a nearby dealership who took ownership of the vehicle via a trade-in. The initial owner of my vehicle purchased the vehicle from your dealership. Upon arrival, your service representative, Emerson Cambara, and I reviewed the service history of the vehicle. Although I was scheduled for the 40,000-mile service, Emerson pointed out that this was already completed. I certainly appreciated his honesty given that I did not have advance knowledge of this information in the documentation at the time of my purchase. In turn, we moved forward with the 50,000-mile service as an alternative. When I returned a few hours later to retrieve my vehicle, Emerson pointed out that the prior owner already paid for the 50,000-mile service at no cost to me. Given the circumstances in today’s world, I thought it of utmost importance to follow-up and point out Emerson’s honesty. Please know that it is not about the $380 saved via the service, but more so Emerson’s integrity in sharing with me the information he discovered as a result of his due diligence that was unknown to me . This is a great start to our relationship and I will certainly share this story with friends and family in the market for a new vehicle. My V60 had trouble starting - took 4 times to turn over - on a Sunday so I dropped it off that night. It was an unscheduled service appointment, but I was afraid it would not start next time.
