My 70 year old mother took her car in because she had to keep her doors unlocked or the alarm would go off. They charged her $618.08. They did not fix the problem. They were kind enough to siren which was, unfortnately for her, still working. Since she felt they were, I quote, "a gaggle of incompetent thieves" she would not take it back to be "scammed". This was the exact wording on work request "Customer states alarm system and warning lights intermit displays, currently leaves car unlocked so alarm not" Because of todays auto diagnostics, I decided that while she was away for a few days I would take it back in. They did fix the problem this time and charged full price. After half an hour of fighting, they lowered their ransom on a hefty second bill by a whole $100.00. Somehow they felt their inability to fix it right the first time was my mothers fault. If they had listened to her at all, they would have disconnected the alarm as requested when she first had it there instead of telling her they couldn't. Stay away, stay away, stay away!!!!!!!! More

On November 20th I had a minor accident with my XC70. After calling Volvo of Princeton a technician came out,picked up my car, and dropped off a brand new XC90. Being so close to Thanksgiving my insurance provider would not be out to look at the damage until November 28th. I received my XC70 last night, December 6th, in perfect shape from the dealer certified repair shop which was a bit over 2 weeks after the accident. During this time my wife who is pregnant with twins went into pre term labor. My wife and I only own 1 vehicle. If Volvo of Princeton had not left a car for us it would have been very difficult and stressful for my wife and I to make it to the hospital at 1 in the morning. I cannot thank the Long family and Volvo of Princeton enough for looking out for there customers and especially my wife. Thank you again. Sincerely: Bernard L Hoffman P.S. In fact I have owned many different foreign and domestic automobiles and have never received such wonderful treatment. When I purchased the car I was introduced to Christopher Long who treated me like a family member. At that time I felt he was just trying to sell a car, but over the years with having my car serviced at Volvo of Princeton and now the repairs done to my car I know he is genuine. I ordered my 2012 xc60 T6 from Brian McMahon in September. I got behind the wheel and drive it home last Thursday. I am very happy, with the car as well as with the purchase experience. The car has about 50 mi on it, it runs great so far. Instantaneous acceleration, smooth riding and convenient operations, all as expected. Brian has been very professional through out the whole process. He is the most honest sales person i have ever met. When i first ran into him in the show room, i decided immediately that i would buy my car through him. He is very knowledgable and eager to help, but does not try to hard sell anything to you. So you feel very comfortable and assured that he will take care of things for you. More
After a month of contacting various Volvo dealers between NJ, Ma., Pa. and Maryland. I found Volvo of Princeton and Brian McMahon. This company and the personnel with whom I choose to eventually do business NJ, Ma., Pa. and Maryland. I found Volvo of Princeton and Brian McMahon. This company and the personnel with whom I choose to eventually do business with was the result of a pre-process taking me about a month. Out of the various companies and personnel I dealed with, none seemed as interested as Briam in working for my satisfaction. Brian helped me the most in trying to locate the particular vehicle with the specific safety equipement I wanted without all the "bells & whistles" and eventually suggested that I order the auto from Sweeden. Up to this point, I ve only pre-ordered two cars from "Detroit" in the seventies/eighties which led into disappointing situations. I was very skeptical of this resolution until several other dealers began to suggest this solution without canvassing th market as thoroughly as Brian. Brian McMahon was willing to spend the most time with me, gave me an excellant price and made the wholebuying process an aggravation free educational experience. A good example of this is the 5 hours spent orienting me to the auto when I recently picked it up from the dealer.The only regret I have is that the dealer is 42 miles away, but this was a price I was also willing to pay inorder to purchase the car from this group which I learned to trust. More

When it did arrive (a week earlier than anticipated!), it was perfect and included exactly what we had ordered, even an item that was added as an afterthought several weeks after the original order was placed. We chose to do this because I was disenchanted with our local dealership in terms of availability of the vehicle I wanted and lack of willingness to negotiate on an earlier proposed transaction. The staff at Princeton were, without exception, friendly, cooperative and efficient in that I was able to trade, finance and drive home the vehicle of my choice on the same day. Thank you. More
