Painless Experience I looked for a Volvo XC40 for several weeks and this was the only dealership that actually called me back and made an appointment. I wasn't looking f I looked for a Volvo XC40 for several weeks and this was the only dealership that actually called me back and made an appointment. I wasn't looking forward to the actual process of going to the dealership (pushy salesmen, hours and hours doing paperwork, etc.). This was nothing like that. I was in and out relatively quickly and the salesman Liam was not pushy at all which put me at ease. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a Volvo. More

The entire process was non stressful from the initial inquiry via Ashly on the net, to the interaction with the sales pro Lolita Cook. The finance person was also a pleasure to work with. Lolita was very knowledgable about the car and differences between configurations, and was really a joy to work with. Her and my wife really clicked which made the few hours spent there fly by. In both cases I have been extremely pleased with the level of service. This is extremely important as I live three hours from the dealership, so all of my contact is via the phone and email. In both cases, the automobile was described accurately and the price was reasonable. John arranged things so that when I showed up the paperwork and car were ready to go. Promises that go unfulfilled. Same old dealership way. My sales experience was fine just like any other sales experience, they wanted my money, they told me how different they were and my satisfaction was My sales experience was fine just like any other sales experience, they wanted my money, they told me how different they were and my satisfaction was their number one priority. After I walked out the door though, it was a different story. I bought a 2014 Mercedes from them, it did not have a front license plate holder, it's illegal in IL to not have a front license plate. I was told they would order it right away and schedule me in for the service. It's now been 2 and a half months and nothing. I have asked about it but they told me it was on back order. For 2 and a half months? The last communication from Bob Makowka was over a month ago. My car also had tinted windows. Someone put the dealer sticker on the back passenger window which doesn't work with tinted windows because the kid that cleaned the car tried to remove it with a razor blade and tore the tint. Nobody said a thing because it was closing time and I had already signed the paperwork. I told Bob and he said, "No problem, we will take care of it with the license plate holder. We will have you come in and give you a loaner so you can leave the car and have it fixed." Again, 2 and a half months ago. This dealer is the same old dealer of years ago. All they care about is your money. Once you walk out the door, they don't care about you. Except for the messages I keep getting about giving them a good review. Well I held off because I wanted to see if they actually followed through on their promises. They didn't. Now I post my review. I am very disappointed with this dealership and I highly recommend that you go elsewhere. You can buy new with them because service can be done elsewhere but if you buy used, make sure when you walk out the door you don't need anything from them because you won't get it, no matter the promises. More

2nd grade buying experience for a premier car I bought a used Volvo CX90 from the Volvo of Lisle at the end of May. This is probably my 5th car buying experience and by far the worst I have dealt I bought a used Volvo CX90 from the Volvo of Lisle at the end of May. This is probably my 5th car buying experience and by far the worst I have dealt with. When i was test driving the car, noticed a scratch on the LCD screen which they assured me was a smudge and they could get their service team to fix once they do a final cleaning before i drove it away. Lo and behold after i paid for it, was told that they tried their best and it was a crack and i should expect those when buying an used car. This came from their Sales manager. Another big item for us was the installation of the DVD player as we were going off on a road trip the next day. I was told that if we paid the overnight charge (which we paid) they could have it installed the next morning but when i went in the next morning was told that they need a couple of days and that they were busy. I told them that we traded in our previous car which had the dvd player and gotten this car for the road trip based on their promise to have it installed the next day (and we paid for the overnight charge). Well, they just said we were SOL. Not to mention that they kept us for 4-5 hours at the dealership to close on this transaction (that didn't even need any financing from their side). The adage about keep the customers long enough to get tired so they will sign anything to get out of there is so true with these guys. Between the false promises of the dvd install and the lying about the screen cracking and their unwillingness to rectify anything (after emailing their leadership about it), these guys aren't worth your time. There is a reason why they price their cars low - it's to cover for their lack of service or professionalism. Do yourself a favor and deal with someone else. More
