Check Stop Lamp I went to the Volvo of Lisle Service Center today to replace a tail light on my 2011 Volvo C30 R-Design. I asked if the bulb could be replaced withou I went to the Volvo of Lisle Service Center today to replace a tail light on my 2011 Volvo C30 R-Design. I asked if the bulb could be replaced without bringing my car into the mechanics and was told by a Service Manager, Scott Arrandale, that it wouldn't be an issue for my car. He seemed nice at first. I relied on Scott to visually evaluate my tail lights as I pressed my brake to identify the proper bulb that needed to be replaced. I ending up purchasing 4 bulbs overall to be replaced. After replacing multiple bulbs on two separate occasions, the Check Stop Lamp message still wouldn't turn off. I wasn't upset that Scott had twice made an error in his assessment--the bulbs were cheap--but after the second attept he told me it was the upper left tail light, that he “wasn't working for free anymore” and my “tail light had to be removed” by the mechanics. I politely questioned the factuality of his statement, because there's an access panel that pops right out in the interior of my car behind the bulb. He wouldn't reply back to me at all and continued to sit at his desk ignoring me. The Parts Department came out and was able identify the proper light bulb right away. They were very helpful unlike Scott. I removed the access panel and replaced the bulb with ease. Scott was trying to charge me an extra $120.00 for the mechanics to work on my car. After I expressed my dissatisfaction that he lied to me to make money, he chased after me out of the building repeatedly yelling “hey” and told me to “never come back”. This is Volvo of Lisle. John Taylor is an Outstanding Salesperson! I've been to many dealerships and one of the biggest turn-offs is high pressure sales or someone "following you around" as you look over the cars. We were not expecting to buy a car the day we came in, but Liam made it easy for us to make a decision. He was very helpful - he answered our questions and provided additional information without making us ever feel pressured. Even the negotiation process he kept easy as well as short! With the assistance of the Cars.com VIN scan to tell us how the car was priced in comparison to others in the area, we were sold! Liam offered his time to walk our son through the features of the used car we bought that day (since he will be the primary driver), so he could become familiar with what it had to offer. He even loaned us a big red bow to put on the car to add some flair to the surprise when our kids got home from school that afternoon! More

I was able to work out all the arrangements online with Ashley and they held the car for me with a deposit. Lolita was great when we arrived to pick it up, took the car to detailing to fix a couple scuffs, and went over all of the car's features with us. Jennifer helped us with finance, and everything was exactly as we agreed to in advance. No hidden fees, window etch charges, nitrogen tire fills, extended warranties, or any other tricks! Well worth the drive for a stress free buying experience! More

Chris and the dealership managers were very thorough in explaining different aspects of the car buying process, and I felt comfortable the entire time in making my decision. Chris offered great customer service throughout the purchase process and able to offer whatever information I was looking for. After I purchased my vehicle, he took the time to sit in the car with me and show me all functionalities, how to use different features and make sure I had all of my questions answered! I was on a short timeline since I was moving out of the state a week later, and Chris was able to make this incredibly stress-free, help me with things even after I picked up my car, and ensure I had a great first car buying experience.
