Renee Fennaghty, did such a fine job of welcoming me a few weeks ago for some test drives, that I saw no reason to look further than Hudson Valley Volvo to make a decision on a car. As it happens, I am new to the area and have just returned from four years living in Europe, where I had no car. I have only ever owned Volvos in the past, so naturally made my first stop at HVV. Since I had been out of the car market for several years, I was expecting my search for a new vehicle would be a somewhat uncomfortable experience. Renee’s personality and effort to explain all the new technology I had missed while living abroad made my experience free of delays, complications and indecisions. The fervor with which she described the new models as well as the pre-owned car I eventually bought helped make the whole process I was dreading, problem-free. The car I purchased has been universally admired since I picked it up. I find it hard to believe myself that this is not a brand-new automobile! I heartily recommend Renee and Hudson Valley Volvo to anyone in the area looking for a quality car purchase experience. More

When making an appointment for service, the experience is always outstanding. I never have to wait for an appointment and at times I need a loaner car due to scheduling conflicts. The car is always ready, it's always clean and I always get the "once over" of how "things" work! It is always a pleasure to work with Dan. He knows his customers by their first names, he greets them with a smile, and he is very knowledgeable. He personally makes the call when the job is done. Dan typically calls again a few days after the service to make certain the car is running OK and to check that the service was satisfactory. I always appreciate the reminders that I get from Dan as to when the car is due for its next service. You can't miss!! Overall, Dan and the service department have set an excellent example of quality service. Congratulations on a job well-done! More

Terrible service,unqualified,incompetent mechanics(a lot of mistakes).When i called this morning somebody answered without introducing himself,he was rude,when i made a comment he was just silent,no answer of mistakes).When i called this morning somebody answered without introducing himself,he was rude,when i made a comment he was just silent,no answer and at the end i wished him a good day and all i heard was a clicking sound!!?!? In a period of almost 2 years i had multiple problems with their service department. One time they "fixed" my wheel valve and when i went back home i found the valve stem is cracked?!? Many times they would say that my car will be ready in 30 minutes and i'm sitting there and waiting for 1.5 hours!!?! Other times i would call and nobody picks up the phone!?! More

I visited many Volvo dealerships in my search for an XC70 and this one was the best by far! Gabe and Renee are just great! Gabe took the time to educate me not only on the model I was initially interested and this one was the best by far! Gabe and Renee are just great! Gabe took the time to educate me not only on the model I was initially interested in, but in the differences between that car and the others that I might want to consider....and pointed out these things in "real-time" while we were test-driving the many vehicles he presented to me! No hype or pressure - just great information and then allowed me to make the next step at my own pace. Also, on more than one occasion Gabe and Renee stayed past their closing time to make sure I got a chance to see (and drive!) every car that I wanted to compare. Unlike some other dealerships, everyone we came in contact with - including the receptionist - was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed the moment we walked in. Also, as we began to "talk turkey", I learned that Gabe reprices his inventory WEEKLY and (from my own experience) makes sure that his cars are at least competitive-to if not a better value than the other dealerships. Overall I had a very pleasant experience with Hudson Valley Volvo, and will most definitely come back again in the future when the need arises! More

I submitted a web lead and Renee promptly replied with answers to my questions. We made an appointment for me to drive the car and she was able to negotiate a great deal for me that fit my budget on the answers to my questions.
