WARNING DO NOT BUY FROM HUDSON VALLEY VOLVO. I purchased a certified pre owned from this dealer, after 1 year it started burning so much oil I had to bring it back to them for inspection. I have documentation stating they found a common issue in that model car- bad piston rings in the engine- and that the repair would be covered under Volvo warranty. After months of waiting for the parts to come in I finally leave them my car and as I’m about to leave in the loaner vehicle I am stopped by the service manager Dan and told this repair can’t be done yet we need your service records etc. I gather all my service records and come back only to be told “Volvo doesn’t do that repair anymore just put thicker oil in it”. Flash forward and my engine is destroyed. This Volvo dealer and Volvo corporate refuse to do anything. More
Beware of service charges. Here is my experience I took my 2013 Volvo S60 to the dealership. They performed following 3 services 1. Replaced a Fuel Pressure Sensor. Charged Here is my experience I took my 2013 Volvo S60 to the dealership. They performed following 3 services 1. Replaced a Fuel Pressure Sensor. Charged me $1181.12 for this repair. 2. Flushed and replaced coolant. Charged me 262.77. 3. Brake fluid service. Charged me 208.13. After I got the work done and paid for it, I decided to check competitiveness since I felt the charges high. Based on my findings summarized below, I have concluded that the repair cost is exorbitant Here are the reasons 1. Fuel pressure sensor is sold by same dealership for 134.02. The service department charged me 160.82 (~20% markup on part sold by its own parts department) 2. Labor charges for are for 5 hours of labor at $185 per hr. Based on my subsequent research (through asking other Volvo dealers within 50 miles of this dealership), I have concluded that the dealership charged me 2.5X to 3X in labor charges. Typically, this repair should take 1-2 hours. 3. For coolant replacement Ramsey Volvo performs the same service for $69.95. Basically one third of the price I paid to Hudson Valley Volvo. More
I bought my first Volvo from Stefan zungoli in 2019. I just leased a new s60 also from Stefan. The transaction went very smoothly and the car was discounted quite a bit. Stefan is a very thorough and attentive sales person without being annoying. His product knowledge is excellent and he is very patient through the process. Stefan’s manager Chris was also great. I can’t say enough good things. I’m definitely addicted to Volvo! Also the service department has been great. I forgot the service managers name but he is a good part of the reason I decided to make my first leased vehicle a Volvo. My only regret is that we are moving out of state in a few months. I hope we are able to find a Volvo dealer near our new home to measure up to Volvo of the Hudson valley! More

Had a few vehicles in mind from a web search and my sales associate, Perry, was very helpful in discussion around what I was looking for and looking at several vehicles to meet those needs. Overall sales experience was very positive. Perry was helpful and courteous and friendly. Questions I had were answered and as whole it was a very unpressured experience. Purchase was extremely smooth as well and one of the quicker experiences I've had buying a vehicle. Based on my experience I would definitely feel comfortable coming back to this dealer for future business. More

TERRIBLE, hostile service. Was threatened by the service manger for having the loaner for more than one day.
