Don't listen to the customer I had brought my 2008 Volvo C70 in for service when my "check engine" light came on. When I initially came in with the problem, they were supposedly f I had brought my 2008 Volvo C70 in for service when my "check engine" light came on. When I initially came in with the problem, they were supposedly fixed it and the light came back on by the time I had gotten home. I took the car back again, again, again and again to correct the problem, which took over 3 months with letters including Volvo of North America and eventually a letter from my attorney to see that I was serious. In the course of all of this, they had damaged the vents to my AC. They also broke the caps on my front bumper that would cover the wiper for the headlights. Never again will I subject myself their poor customer service. More

Battery installation Several items were corrected on my car and one of them was changing the battery under warranty. 4 weeks after replacing the battery, I was having p Several items were corrected on my car and one of them was changing the battery under warranty. 4 weeks after replacing the battery, I was having problems with my car starting. I needed my car serviced quickly because I am planning on doing a lot traveling during the next 2 weeks. I took the car to a different dealership. The problem turned out to be the battery was not installed properly. The wires were just placed on the battery and not tightened on the battery. The wires were loose and coming off the battery. I would give them a 1 star for this service but they did other work on the car. Despite being located 2 blocks from my house, I will not be taking my car there anymore. More

On 12-7-2017 I took my Volvo C-70 to On Sept. 1 and Sept 7, 2017 I had my left and right front engine mounts replaced by a new Volvo Service dept. On 12-7-2017 I took my Volvo C-70 to Volvo of Gilbert (formerly Volvo of Tempe-where I purchased the vehicle). I was entitled a free oil change because they had always service the vehicle from the day I bought it -until they moved to Gilbert. 1st then were not going to honor the oil change-even though I had called ahead and they told me they would honor the free oil change. They did honor it. However, the service advisor called and said my engine mounts were "shredded" , which they said was a common problem in AZ. The repair cost was quoted at $882.80! When I told the Service advisor I had just replaced these motor mount several weeks earlier-He tells me there are 5 motor mounts. I went back to the Volvo dealer that replaced the mounts -the couldn't believe what was said-so I showed them the Gilbert service recommendations. They suggested I contact Volvo-which I did. More

Earlier this week, my wife sc Unfortunately, this note is to express my disappointment with Volvo of Tempe (now Volvo of Gilbert) service department. Earlier this week, my wife scheduled a 30k mile service online for our 2016 XC90 T6. Noted in the additional comments field was that a loaner car would be required. Today, my wife arrived as scheduled for her confirmed 7:30am service appointment (email confirmation from Volvo of Tempe in-hand). Upon arrival, she was told by the service adviser that she was NOT on the schedule. The service adviser then asked her if she made the appointment online, to which she replied “yes.” He then advised that it was a known issue and that web appointments don’t transfer to the dealership service schedule. He further clarified that Volvo Corporate doesn’t want customers to know that the online scheduling tool doesn’t work, but that he would see what he could do to still get our XC90 serviced and proceeded to take down all of her information. He then asked if she would be waiting for the car to be serviced, to which she replied she was unable to and had to get to the office for meetings and that she had requested a loaner car on the service appointment request and that we have always been issued a loaner car for our service appointments. He advised there were no loaners available and offered no other possible solutions. Needing to get to the office my wife had to choice but to leave the dealer with her car not serviced. The lack of service received this morning is unacceptable, there was absolutely no attempt to problem-solve to resolve the issue. I can think of several options, and I don’t spend my life as a service adviser at a car dealership. This is not the first issue we have had with the Tempe service department. We had previously spoken to the service manager regarding feedback that I had provided about our last service experience with this same service adviser. I had hoped the department had improved but that is just not the case. Up until our original adviser left for a new dealer earlier this year, I had been extremely happy and satisfied with the service I was receiving from Volvo. Unfortunately something has changed and Volvo of Tempe/Gilbert service department remains well below my and I’m sure Volvo Corporate standards. I’ll have to schedule a new appointment that works with our calendar’s and given that there are now other competing options in the valley for Volvo service, I would have expected more focus on customer satisfaction. More
Excellent customer service and car service I'll admit, the first few times I went to this dealership, I was a little hesitant to come back due to some complications that arose from the visits. I'll admit, the first few times I went to this dealership, I was a little hesitant to come back due to some complications that arose from the visits. After the last two times of working with the service department there, though, I don't think I will take my car anywhere else. They have told me like it was, gave me all the estimates of the work needed, asked if I needed time to think about it, and answered all the questions I had at that point and along the way. They seem to give very transparent service, and I really love that. The team is also extremely accommodating on if you need to wait or need a loaner car, whatever they can do to help and make it easier on you if they can. And when an unexpected problem arises, they let you know immediately. I was very impressed with the service I received, and I felt like they genuinely cared about my car and me. More
