Door handle on driver's door had somehow pulled away from the skin. Arrived at about 11:45 AM, without an appointment.I usually deal with Jud but he was already swamped. Brian said many of the service people were already busy or at lunch, but he would see if he could break someone free. I waited in the inside customer lounge, thinking it would be two or three hours. I had a cup of the excellent fresh-brewed coffee and read a magazine. At 12:45 PM Brian returned, said the handle was fixed, my car had been washed and was waiting just outside the door. I was shocked. I looked at my watch . . one hour, almost exactly. On a very busy day (Monday). You talk about great customer service, this was it. Total cost $91.34, almost all labor. Yes, that was on the high side for one hour of labor, but well worth it for the courtesy and convenience to a walk-in customer/client. I have a sense that the move from Scottsdale to the Tempe Autoplex has re-energized this dealership. Sure, the facility is nice, but the people seem to have an extra spring in their steps. I brought my Volvo in for service (oil change, tire rotation, safety inspection). Brian was very informative. After Scottsdale Volvo closed I had to determine which location I would have to get service at. I found the staff at another dealer repulsive with horrible, arrogant, and unfriendly staff. Everyone at V location I would have to get service at. I found the staff at another dealer repulsive with horrible, arrogant, and unfriendly staff. Jud is extremely customer service friendly from start (making the appointment) to finish (picking up the car). I hope he remains with this new dealership for a long time. He's a gem. The service is excellent. Brian greeted us with friendly enthusiasm and listened closely to our problems.
