I live in Tempe but bought my 2007 S80 at Volvo of Phoenix simply because they had the car for which I was looking. I had been to the service department at Volvo of Phoenix a couple of times since buy Phoenix simply because they had the car for which I was looking. I had been to the service department at Volvo of Phoenix a couple of times since buying the car and they were adequate but did not offer the experience I was looking for. At Volvo of Tempe I experienced communicative, warm, friendly staff who seemed interested in being certain that they had all the information needed to serve me completely and correctly. It was nice to have questions asked and answers actually heard. Jeff, my service consultant, was sincere, professional - yet relaxed, and knowledgeable. He not only made certain he understood why I was there but also explored further to see if there may be any other issues that may need their attention. While I did not meet the service techs who actually did the work - they have my thanks too for a job done correctly and without any visible clues that any work had been done! For me, Volvo of Tempe is exactly what I am looking for in an auto service facility. Donald Harvey More
I had the best experience recently at Volvo of Tempe. I worked with Jeff Nowak, who was exceptional. He worked very hard to get me the deal and car I wanted. This will be hard to beleive but he actually made the entire process fun, but more importantly he meant what he said, and he deleivered what he promised. I have bought many cars in Arizona, but I have never had such a gratifing experience purchasing a car. In addition to Jeff, everyone else was great and helpful through the entire process. My hats off to Volvo of Tempe and Jeff Nowak. Oh, I almost forgot, I love my 2012 Volvo XC 70. More

You know I'm always telling folks how important reviews are to business and how they help consumers stay away from the bad and find the deserving and hard working businesses of good standing. This review is way overdue from me to Volvo of Tempe. I'm always stating how it is natural for a consumer to complain about the bad services we receive and make sure to alert anyone going to a bad business. But when we are Happy, forget to rave about businesses like Volvo of Tempe, cause ,.....well we are happy happy happy and just go about our way. Shame on me! Okay now for my story: I was having a horrific time trying to get my Volvo serviced in Irvine, California at Irvine Volvo. Left messages for the Service Manager, General Dealership Manager and even the Owner. I am a Three time Volvo New Car buyer with Irvine Volvo. Not ever again. None of the above mentioned ever cared to call me back, I felt so bad for the receptionist, Jan who is a Doll and a Professional who unfortunately has to get all those angered customer calls. Once needing to have my car serviced because of an issue with a window and mechanical situation I got to experience somewhat of a better service dept. in Palm Springs, no choice, Irvine was not calling me back and I could not risk the drive all the way home to be turned away. Well here is the incredibly Great part of this story I was, I was in Phoenix visiting my parents and decided to have the car and some issues I had looked over at the Volvo of Tempe. I called and asked if they would be able to take my car on such short notice, and that I would need a loaner as I am visiting and need to get around. They said Yes! Getting there no easy task but anyhow, Once I did arrive the professionalism was nothing like I have come accustomed to at Irvine Volvo. Dealerships according to my recent experiences since Ruben-Service Advisor, left Irvine Volvo went back to being, Argumentative, Constant need to prove the issues to their ( "nope", "don't see it", "not the cars fault", oop's" ) techs there. Literally needing to drive straight there when issues are active to prove your not crazed. Anyhow, Volvo of Tempe listened to me Documented everything I said and had the loaner waiting for me. Wow"!! What's wrong here? Why do I have to drive to Tempe, Arizona to get good Volvo Service? I live in Laguna Beach, California..I meant Excellent Service!! Brian Lawrence the service advisor stated he would and did communicate the progress of my car. I was so overwhelmed with the sincerity of Brian i asked him to go ahead and do the routine service to my car while it was there. Unfortunately I was informed that a dear friend had just passed, so I needed to get home right away. Brian without hesitation had my car ready and because I got there after service had closed the General Sales Manager Dan Beaudette, himself went pulled my car out and allowed me to get going, without even knowing what my charges came to stating I could call and take care of business when I got home and settled in. Wow! What the Heck"?? I was so depressed because of my friend yet these people were able to make me feel so good about my overall situation. I was sure Steven was watching over me sending good aura my way, Incredible!! I made it home and felt so good about what I experienced in the service department that called and questioned their Finance Director, J.P. Hammacher about getting an extended warranty on my XC60. He was so thorough and informative with my options, and sincere about what policy best served my needs. Unlike the one at Irvine who didn't give me a trusting feel or information to help me decide. I said, " Charge it up"! He did and I received all my documentation in no time. I'll tell ya, this dealership is awesome. I am trying to time my service intervals with my visits to Phoenix just so that Volvo of Tempe gets more of my business. Hats off to these guys!! Definitely a 10 Star Business. More
