After doing some research on the internet, I decided to visit Volvo of Tempe. I didn't set an appointment (I just showed up) and I was lucky enough to stumble upon Scott Hay. WHAT A GREAT PURCHASING EXPERIENCE! I have had many different types of cars over the years and have experience many types of dealerships, but this one takes the cake for me! The atmosphere was warm, the staff (Scott!) was perfectly attentive without being a pushy salesman and I walked out of there with the perfect car! When I was trying to speak to someone on my cellphone and had trouble hearing because someone in the showroom was actually driving/moving a car around, creating terrific noise, he asked them to stop. He was helpful in other ways, too. So was the lady at the check-out desk. AND, when I had another person look over the vehicle, I was told that the work was very good and "clean," meaning, everything looked VERY good. So, Good service. Good people. More

He is very responsive and made the process hassle and pain-free, which is sometimes tough to get when buying a car. Good deal but the usual issues I had been in the market for a new car and knew exactly what I wanted. The guys had a great offer and we locked it in in no time. Iwas happy with both the price and the financing, but, as seems to be pretty much the standard for car dealers, my bill was suddenly different from what we had agreed on. They put in about $900 of gap-insurance I never heard of and didn't want and another $200 thing I didn't want either and still don't know what is. As they only showed me this once the financing was locked in, it was either take the deal or spend another week resending paperwork etc. Besides that, they did very well. I have my first service on Monday, hopefully that will be excellent - and transparent More
