This visit to Volvo of Danbury was for the scheduled 120,000 mile service on my 2004 XC70. This is an extensive service visit and the technician found additional items that needed work. Mike Cerone let me know what was covered on the 120,000 mile service on my prior scheduled service visit and the additional items found were either already known by me or expected (normal wear). Everything was explained completely by Rob Lollie or Mike Cerone, as always. I bought my Volvo at Volvo of Danbury and have used their service department for my cars scheduled maintenance since new. I've known Mike Cerone for years. He knows me and more importantly my car. Mike, Rob and Mike DeSanzo (the Serv Dept Mgr) provide exceptional customer service. My Volvo (with 120,000 miles) runs like new car. Part of that is because "its a Volvo" and the other part because of the service I receive at Volvo of Danbury. More
I had an issue that concerned me, but no appointment. I brought my car in for, what I thought was one of the "big services" but Mike took the time to check my car history and let me know that it wasn't in need of a service just yet, all it needed was a an oi "big services" but Mike took the time to check my car history and let me know that it wasn't in need of a service just yet, all it needed was a an oil change. These guys are dishonest I will only have them do warranty related service . Anything else is likely to be both overpriced and even unnecessary. They details are below: After taking our car in for scheduled maintenance we were told that our front brakes were at 1mm (out of 10mm) and needed new pads & rotors ($729) and rear pads ($220) as well. In addition Mike Desanzo said we needed a transmission flush for $345. I had Firestone service (2 miles away) give me an estimate for the transmission flush that came to $150. However, Firestone said it was unnecessary (as it would be part of a regular service in 5k miles) and that our front brakes measured 6mm so no service was yet required on them or the rear brakes. The moral of the story is: go to Firestone to get better prices and honest feedback on the status of your car. More

Both Mike Cerrone and Mike (service Manager) have always been very friendly, accommodating and informative. I never feel rushed when things need to be explained. Brought in the car before 10am for service. There is no communication until I called to find out the status of the car at 4:55pm. It turned out that it was over night'er.
