Disappointed with disbelief. Recall service for seatbelt, came away with non functional seatbelt. Refused to accept responsibility and only offered repair at a discount. Lack of integrity, lack of remorse, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer safety much less customer satisfaction. SMDH More
After purchasing my car, I have had a series of electrical and mechanical issues. I was stranded several times on the side of the road. Every time it was "repaired" by the dealer, I was assured i electrical and mechanical issues. I was stranded several times on the side of the road. Every time it was "repaired" by the dealer, I was assured it was fixed - but time and time again I ended up back in the service dept with the same problem. Each time - no loaners were available for me so I'm also stuck having to rent a car. I have made a dozen phone calls following up but no one ever reached back out to me. This was the 3rd Volvo that our family purchased but my experience will guarantee that it is our LAST. More
I brought my car for warranty work after waiting 4. 5 months. The car had no service lights on or warnings when I brought it in. Upon returning it I was given the car back with a check engine light and 5 months. The car had no service lights on or warnings when I brought it in. Upon returning it I was given the car back with a check engine light and low coolant warnings. I was told to pay 1,000 to get it off. They offered nothing even though the issue occurred during their service of the warranty work. Place is a scam. They just say it's your fault. Stay away from service department!!! I now have to take it to another shop just to have my car the way it was prior to their supposed warranty work. More
I was so excited to have my second Volvo. I truly believe there are the safest cars on the road. Dealing with Volvo east and Volvo north is a disaster… Stay away. They changed my deal after it was too late for me to do anything about it. Just to have a basic service takes over 16 days to schedule. Worst purchase experience possible, way to go guys! I purchased a used Volvo XC 70 from this dealership in March of 2019. The finance manager dropped the ball on me. He did not get the forums submitted in time to Volvo financial. I made calls and visited the dealership many times trying to get the issue fixed. I was told Friday May 24th the dealership had made my first payment for their mistake and everything was fine. I received a call from Volvo the next Monday May the 27th from Volvo collections informing me I was now 2 months past due on my car payments. I have never been late on a payment that is reflected in my credit. The purchase experience was well enough, but subsequently I have been ran through the wringer for their mistake and now have a late payment to show for it. I am VERY unhappy about all of this and the manager I spoke to Dave Purvis was completely useless in resolving the issue and left me off to the salesman to try and resolve when this was not my salesman's fault either. This dealer ship is owned by the same dealership that owns Volvo of the Village so if you purchase a Volvo in Cincinnati you don't have an option but to use these guys. I feel bad for anyone they may take advantage of that does not understand the car buying process. If you are able then I would suggest to go to another city to purchase your next Volvo new or used, these guys have no clue how to treat a customer or correct their mistakes. They sure are good at playing the blame game though as this was always Volvo financial fault and never the dealership making the mistake. (spoiler:it was not Volvo financial that made the mistake-it was the dealership) More

The Absolute Worst Experience of My Life Between charging me for updates necessitated by the repairs they made to my air conditioning, ruining my engine while trying to repair valves that cra Between charging me for updates necessitated by the repairs they made to my air conditioning, ruining my engine while trying to repair valves that crashed when my timing belt broke at 105000 mikes even though its not part of the scheduled maintenance until 120000 miles ( and I guess its not included in my regular maintenance although the service says inspection of belts), followed by them telling me that my coolant resevoir ruptured causing my car to overheat and leaking coolant into the oil,,,, when no warning lights ever came on and other indicators suggest that it was the oil that got into the coolant causing it to rupture) and I forgoiforgoit that they also advertised 2 cars on their website that they didn't have...when I asked them to contact me when the vehicles were on the lot, they admitted that they were never getting them. Enough said, the absolute worst. If you have s Volvo get it serviced elsewhere. If you want to purchase one, go to Dayton or Louisville. And this is absolutely a true experience. More

So I ca I called in about a code for a radio that locked up on me. I spoke with a guy in parts the first day and I had the wrong number for the radio. So I called back the next day and tony answered, he worked very hard getting me the information. Went as far as calling volvo for me, I received 5 star service and it wasn't something that he or the company would make a profit from. With this level of service I can only imagine how a paying customer gets treated. Like royalty I'm guessing. Thank You Tony. More

I called Volvo of Cincinnati on Plainville Rd. an Recently ( May 8th, 2013) I was in Cincinnati visiting and my 2004 Volvo V70 AWD would not start. I called Volvo of Cincinnati on Plainville Rd. and talked with Michelle in service. She arranged for a flat bed to bring the car to the dealership. Once there she kept me updated on the diagnostic testing and eventually took me back to talk with the mechanic. Unfortunately there were two computers that had shorted out. The repair price was enough to rethink repairing the problem and I asked that I could speak with a salesman. Michelle introduced me to Doug Schoonover, general sales manager. Since I have owned Volvos for about 30 years, I looked at the new S60's. Doug gave me the keys to an S60 T5 AWD and while I was test driving the car he evaluated my car for a trade-in. When I returned we discussed the trade-in price and looked at the current inventory at the Plainville Rd. store. Then I asked him if there were any service loaners available for sale. I found a 2013 S60 T5 AWD at the West Chester store. While we were taking care of the financial details, Doug called Dave Purvis at West Chester to take a close at the car I choose for any dents or scratches. When I arrived at the West Chester store Dave Purvis had the car ready for delivery. Dave had all the paperwork ready for signatures and also reviewed items that were new to me on this model. All the staff involved at both store were courteous and extremely helpful. The car I purchased had 4900 miles on the odometer. In the three weeks since I took delivery I have put on 2800 miles. The car gets great mileage and has the Volvo quality and safety that I have been accustomed to. I returned to Cincinnati last week and I noticed that the door sill plate on the drivers side was broken. I stopped in service at West Chester and talked with Kevin. He removed a sill plate from a new car and replaced my broken one. Thanks again to the outstanding staff at Volvo of Cincinnati. More
