After originally being very impressed with Mr. Garcia, we gave up on being ignored and went elsewhere. We found the Volvo that I wanted at a fantastic price under 19,000 miles and the transaction was comple gave up on being ignored and went elsewhere. We still needed to drive 14 hours round trip to test drive and purchase the car but I have no regrets on moving on from this salesman. At one point Mr. Garcia called me from out of office very upset because we called the dealership and spoke to someone else while he was off for several days due to a family matter. Given the situation, we decided to allow him to continue with us and purchase from him. We were left to wait for days on vehicle inquires, given half the information requested when we received it at all and Mr. Garcia struggled to follow simple requests such as “Please do not contact me. Contact my husband from this point on.” Repeatedly. Multiple vehicles at this dealership and others were sold before we could get simple information back from this guy to make a deal. Additionally, don’t bother emailing or calling him. You won’t get a response until he’s already left the building and on his way home because “I had customers”. Hmmmm. Guess we were in the other category. It’s hard to give someone detailed information about a car or even confirm it’s still on the lot when you don’t bother to check while you’re there. I’ll happily spread the word amongst my family and friends up and down the eastern seaboard to steer clear of this fellow and look for a better Volvo dealership that will fit their needs. Final thoughts, I felt bad for this guy. He went into all the gory details of Volvo taking away opportunities to make money and how hard things were and that he and his family needed this, etc. After dealing with a higher class of Volvo salesmen elsewhere, I recognize this as a slimy salesman tactic. Mr. Garcia, good luck to you. You’re going to need it. More
