In a word, horrible - I received a notification on my center console that I was due for a service appointment, so of course I scheduled an appointment. When I got there I checked in with Jim, the attenda center console that I was due for a service appointment, so of course I scheduled an appointment. When I got there I checked in with Jim, the attendant, for my service appointment. I mentioned to him that I was having issues with the center console wireless phone charger and that we were interested in possibly buying a roof rack, so to please look into each of those while in here. The guy tells me "no problem, will do, it'll be about an hour and a half", so we go and sit in the waiting area expecting to be done in two hours, max. 2.5 hours later the same guy comes to get us and let's us know that NO WORK HAS BEEN DONE because we're not due for a service appointment until one year or x amount of miles. He did tell me there's nothing wrong with the charger and gave me a quote on the roof rack (ZERO percent I buy that, btw). We sat there for 2.5 hours for absolutely no reason and the guy acts like I'm an idiot because I assumed the Volvo computer wouldn't tell me to come in for an appointment if it wasn't actually time for me to come in. Jim was so surprised I could be upset (they did check the phone charger and he was quoting is for a roof rack after all, why wouldn't I want to wait 2.5 hours for that, right?!). 30 minutes to get there, 2.5 hours to wait, then 30 minutes home all on a Saturday, and to top it, this Volvo representative makes it seem like I'm the jerk. No apology, nothing, just condescension. Really put a bad taste in my mouth. More
