Dishonest dealership. Sold me a brand new car with damaged suspension with no sense of responsibility to address my concerns. I gave my best to work with the dealership from last 2 months and today I gave up and hence sharing my experience. On December 21st, 2021, I leased a brand new Volvo S60 from Volvo Cars Annapolis, MD. Upon agreeing on a monthly lease payment, the transaction took place as we decided to purchase the car, and my wife and I visited the dealership to test drive it. As we arrived at the dealership, we learned the car already had 6,000+ miles on it, and the dealer was selling it as a new car because it was their “demo” vehicle. However, my wife really liked the color, and we continued with it. Interestingly, when we test drove the car, we felt like the car had a very shaky steering wheel, and any time we would press a break, the shakiness would worsen. We reported this issue to the Sales manager Bruce King, and he offered if we decided to purchase this car today, he would take care of the issue by changing the front rotors and delivering the vehicle to our home (which would save us 1.5 hours drive). I was a little skeptical about this purchase however, since wife really liked the exterior, we agreed and trusted his word. However, this was a red flag for me, and I should not have trusted a single word that came out of that sales manager. On February 11th, 2022, I severely observed the car swaying on the road and noticed tires losing air pressure. Initially, I thought one of the tires was losing; however, upon inspecting, I noticed both rear tires wholly worn off, and I could see the spikes/wires coming out of the tires. This didn’t happen overnight; therefore, I reached out to my sales rep. and was told to send pictures, and he would have the service manager contact me. The service manager didn’t call me for good three days; however, I had both tires replaced by Costco and was told to take my car to full car repair facility to have the alignment check before the new tires wore off. Furthermore, I took my car to Pohanka Chevrolet (the only dealership open at the time on the weekend) and was told that the car was sold to me with a damaged suspension, and I needed to contact Volvo. They could fix the best of their ability and still couldn’t fully optimize/fix the alignment. On February 16th, 2022, Sean Ernest from the service department reached out to me and said there’s not much they can do and provided a canned response by stating that I need to contact Volvo. I reached out to Volvo on February 16th, 2022, and opened up the ticket . I was told to send copies of my tires receipt so they could submit reimbursement; however, they declined to comment on the damaged suspension of the vehicle and told me I needed to work with a retailer. By the way, in the 3rd week of Feb, after my initial complaint, the front left tire also blew up on a highway which I never reported to Volvo. I contacted both the retailer and Volvo multiple to get some support and assistance regarding the vehicle they just finger pointed at each other. The brand new car they sold me came full of problems. I even told the dealer to take the car back because I didn’t want to deal with a brand that has zero customer service handling and didn’t even take a single attempt to resolve my issues. I have owned many brand new cars or even used one. Volvo's ride quality and overall experience are so negative that I want to stay away from this brand for the rest of my life and will continue to share my experience with all my friends and family. I guess the adventure didn’t stop there, and around March 2022, the shakiness came back, just like the time I test drove the vehicle. This time I have reached out to the GM of that dealership named Anthony Ferrogine, who also gave me the cold shoulder by not responding to my emails; or one time he answered, he has put everything at Volvo. More

Very disappointed in service of my 2022 XC 60. First off they gave me a Subaru loaner car that had a crack across the windshield. Second, the car was not cleaned when I picked it up. Lastly, after leaving the car there for 3 days, they didn’t address the problem we initially brought it in for. We seem to be getting different answers on the mpg and the charging. More
