Lloyd didn't pressure us at all but gave us just the right amount of space. He is very knowledgeable about the cars and he's funny too. When we finished signing the paper work he spent a good 20 minutes sitting in the car showing me all the neat features that were new to me. I can't say enough good things about Lloyd and recommend him to everyone! More

I told her I was interested in the Volvo S60 to replace my 2000 S70. She took me for a test drive and explained the features of the S60. I was very pleased and she introduce me to Dennis the Sales Manager. We all discussed the car and Dennis said it was the end of the month and there was a sale going on. I brought my wife back the following day and after she test drove the car, we decided to buy. We felt well informed on the car and were very pleased with the price. Kim Kane handle the finance side without a hitch. All in all, we would recommend Julie and the sales team at Annapolis Volvo. More

Not so good I am about an hour and a half from this dealership. Contacted this dealership several weeks ago about a particular car listed online. They responded and car didn't have an option I wanted. I responded, fully describing the car I wanted and saying if one came on lot let me know. They responded great. Few days ago, car I wanted listed at site. Yesterday asked if still on lot. Response was yes. At 3:00 emailed saying on way to look at car. Arrived only find car was being sold and informed the deal was 4 hours in (should say something there that it takes 4 hours to do deal). Left a very bad taste for me that dealership didn't have courtesy to left me know at 3:00 that they were 3 hours into a deal with someone else (given how far I was driving). They were "happy" though to show me 2 other cars on the lot. Further they let me know the car being sold had been there for three weeks. So much for letting me know about a car when it arrived. With this sort of treatment can only imagine the joy if the "full" sales experience. More

The S60 T5 has exceeded my expectations. On my first long distance drive the new 4 cylinder, 300 plus HP engine offered excellent acceleration and handled the mountain terrain without issue. The most impressive aspect of the vehicle is the technology package; making highway driving almost stress free. From the lane control feature, to the variable cruse control, to the blind spot indicators, just to mention a few, the car almost drives itself and most certainly offers the comfort and safety that I’ve come to expect from Volvo over the years. The themed displays are a nice touch allowing the driver to tailor the dash to match the mood. More

The process began with an online inquiry I made on a Sunday about a particular vehicle -- although the dealership was closed that day, Lloyd emailed me that evening and continued to answer questions that I had leading up to the test drive. In the end, we ended up purchasing a different vehicle than we originally inquired about, thanks to Lloyd's help in explaining the various differences between the three C70's that we were considering. I would highly recommend Lloyd to anyone looking for a Volvo or a used vehicle from Annapolis Volvo! It was well worth it to drive to Annapolis from the DC area for this type of car buying experience. More

I waited for 2015 to come, test drove one and was really impressed...problem was 25 highway mileage. Meantime I was also in the market for luxury cars. I considered BMW 3 it is great with 33 highway miles...I thought that is nice. If I may, I was not just looking for fun to drive but in this days, gas mileage has a great impact for car ownership. Then came the 2015 Volvo with Drive E at 37 highway miles...now that is impressive plus it is fast. So after days of looking for the trim and color I really want, I ended up at Annapolis Volvo. I like the fact that they pay attention and respond to the e-mail first thing in the morning otherwise I could have gone through another dealership. Then came to the phone call of actually negotiating the price which I must say went smooth with no haggling and holding on moments. Straight and forward. Then came to signing of contract with Kim Kane whom there was no better way to handle things. She was very sweet from welcoming to just presenting warranty information. Of which BY THE WAY I would highly recommend getting at least up to 70000 mile extended warranty just because if you see the car? you would not believe the electronics/computers that it has...sooo unless you have a degree in computer car maintenance, I would let the professionals handle it. We had seen the car we liked at the car show in DC, and liked the idea of getting a premium European vehicle without the Mercedes BMW price tag. We had the best sales experience of any new car purchase we had ever made (in the last 25 years, I've bought 12 new cars and a couple of used ones). Unfortunately, that's where the good experience ended. Without going into a long and drawn out story about our service issues over the past three years, I'll just say that I believe every negative thing that I've read on this site about others' experiences because the same common thread exists and it matches with our experience. That common thread is incompetence, coupled with BS in order to increase profit in the service department by any means necessary while making the least possible effort to take care of the customer and the customer's vehicle. We always felt that we were being sold unnecessary services while nothing was done to resolve actual problems. To make a long story short, we traded in the car that we really liked last month for a different brand just so that we don't have to deal with Annapolis Volvo's service department ever again. More

I watched one for a while and decided to take a look. I had been talking to Thom Lamm, but when I arrived he was with a client. So I was approached by Sales Manager Dennis Van Valkenburgh. From the time I went into his office he did all he could possibly do to find a way to make it so that I could trade in my vehicle and get the car I wanted. I have never been so pleased with the whole process. Thom and Dennis worked without even one single moment of aggravation and I know that I probably drove them crazy.
