My expereince with Annapolis Volvo thus far has been primarily in dealing with Mr. Thom Lamm. Thom was great in assisting me in the purhase of my new XC-70. We purchased and would definitely recommend as a positive experience to our friends and co-workers. Three weeks ago, my Mother-In-Law was in a car accident with her 2005 Volvo S80, however the insurance company determined the vehicle was complete loss. After visiting another Baltimore, MD Volvo dealership, we drove to Annapolis Volvo hoping to find another S-80 for my Mother-In-Law. We were greeted in the show room by Thom Lamm (Leasing and Sales Consultant), he was very friendly and listened to what vehicle and options my Mother-In-Law was looking for. Within ten to fifteen minutes, we were on the road test driving a 2010 Volvo S80. Mr. Lamm’s knowledge of the Volvo product line was outstanding; his experience providing superior customer service was very apparent when he suggested that the on-site Business Manger (Kim Kane) might be able to beat my Mother-In-Law’s pre-approved auto loan interest rate from her financial institution. To our surprise, Kim Kane persistence resulted in a lower interest rate from another financial institution. This was the first time visiting Annapolis Volvo to purchase a vehicle, if all the employees are at the high caliber and competency as Thom Lamm and Kim Kane, I would purchase my next vehicle from Annapolis Volvo. Once I arrived, I was greeted kindly and taken care of and by multiple associates, all very friendly and helpful. I decided to purchase the car that evening and they worked with me to get a great deal and even stayed late to process the purchase. Kevin was a fantastic associate and I definitely recommend working with him if you are interested in a car at Volvo Annapolis. He was friendly and honest, and made the process very easy for me. The entire team was fabulous - Kim handled all the paper work and explained things to-the-point and made me feel very comfortable. I had waited 19 years to purchase a new car, because face it, who enjoys the process? My husband and I could not have been happier dealing with Thom Lamm. Not only did he address our every need, he addressed it, who enjoys the process? My husband and I could not have been happier dealing with Thom Lamm. Not only did he address our every need, he addressed needs we didn't even know we had. While waiting for our new S60 to be cleaned up, he lent us a courtesy car so that we could head to Whole Foods for lunch and grocery shopping. Some of the extra steps Thom took to make this experience even better was to get my trial Sirius account activated for me so that I could listen to the 70s on 7 all the way back to Wilmington. (I still have not had the time to figure out how to program my radio, so it is a very good thing that 10 days later, I have that Sirius station to listen to). Thom also connected my husband's phone up with the phone system in the car, programmed the door locks and several other things that I have not had the time to get to yet. Before heading to Annapolis from Delaware to shop for a car, I had spent several days shopping on the internet to find a good price on a new 2013 Volvo S60, no dealer came close to the deal we could get from Annapolis Volvo. Being a vegan, I did not want leather interior so I was very pleased to find that Annapolis Volvo actually had three cars from which we could choose. I could not recommend Thom Lamm and Annapolis Volvo enough, it is just a shame that Thom will probably be retired before I am ready for another new car in 19 years. More

Thom was my salesguy -- When we introduced each other I felt very relaxed compared to my last 2 purchases over at fairfax volvo. Maybe it's because they're closer to the waterfront or because it's away fr felt very relaxed compared to my last 2 purchases over at fairfax volvo. Maybe it's because they're closer to the waterfront or because it's away from the city--Thom and Tricia both had a very sincere and humble attitude. Felt almost like a small family owned environment--which I absolutely loved. I found my new Polestar Blue R-design s60 through an internet site, once i sent an email of interest, my mind was ready to do some verbal back and forth battling of negotiation--but to my disappointment they caught me off guard with their great casual attitude--who could resist such pleasantries. Thom is awesome, he really knows his stuff in terms of the product and features -- I traded in my s60 t5 and he showed me features that i never even knew existed--the latter (my upgraded r-design) was the same conclusion. He had knowledge beyond the dealership-- he showed me pictures of polestar racing and we chit chatted about other irrelevant but relevant in terms of my personal interests. Quite the funny and witty fellow might I add, I was genuinely laughing at his jokes/cracks and soaking up information he was spitting out at me. It was worth the 76 miles drive, and I would do it all over again and again. I'm a volvo for life--and when it's time to get a new ride, I think i've found my go to dealer. Tricia was my finance rockstar -- we talked about smart phones, smart t.v.s anything technologically smart.. "pressure" does not exist within her realm. I would have signed 100 forms-- it was a pleasant closing experience. I'll also be recommending them through Yelp and probably yahoo to Rebuttle a bad review I read before I went to the dealership. If this review sounds too good to be true, it shouldn't, I wear my heart on my sleeves and if i didn't enjoy the experience it would have been just as colorful. I'm a user experience designer and I can't help but to be critical in all of my consumer experiences. I hope this review helps and gives you tons of business, because gosh dang it Annapolis is the shi*. More
