Mrs. Beeland this is Cam Lane Parts and Service Director at Volume Chevrolet and I am very sorry to hear about your experience. When you brought your vehicle to us at 12:10 on May the 20th and told us you had previously had your alternator replaced out of state and it was possibly giving you issues and it was a GM part I told you it should be covered at no cost under warranty and the only thing I asked of you was that you send me the paperwork via email where you had the previous work done to attach for warranty purposes. We were able to diagnose the problem, replace your alternator and have your vehicle back to you by Saturday afternoon while I personally was in contact with you the whole time as well as my other Service Advisor’s and again I am truly sorry you had a negative experience!

As someone who works in customer service as a profession, I must respectfully disagree with your response. It was I who called for every update my vehicle, not the other way around. I sent my warranry information in and was told I would hear something by the end of the day. I called at noon the next day, having heard nothing and was told that everything would be covered under my warranty, and that I wouldnt have an out of pocket expense. I was then told my car would be ready Saturday, not sure what time, but you would call when it was done. That didnt happen. I called at 12:30 on Saturday and was then told my car was done. I asked Amanda when I picked my car up the same question I had asked 3 peoole before her, why my car kept having to get a new alternator. She advised that no one ever made a note of that question, and that she had no idea why. She did however mention that a ton of Chevy Traverses have to back to the shop again and afain, becaise apparently they aren't well made. Interesting. So now I am hoping my new alternator will make it for atleast a year as I am sure it will fail again. By then I intend to have traded it in, and be done with the Chevy family of cars forever. It was literally one of the oddest experiences I have had with a business lately.
