Nadia was extremely pleasant and helpful! She was excited about the car we were purchasing and we really felt as if she was working with us to get the best possible price! In the end, Nadia and Atlantic VW gave us a price that was, by far, better then the 3 other dealerships we shopped around at. Througout the entire process Nadia was extremely informative and knowledgeable and made purchasing through her exciting and easy. I loved my Jetta and working with Nadia so much that a month later we returned to purchase another car from her and again we got a great deal! Definitely ask for Nadia at Atlantic Volkswagen! More
I had gone to Atlantic V W after receiving a leasing quote by phone, which was approved by the manager. I was told that they had huge inventory on the car that i was interested in. I had been given a price and leasing terms by phone,and was told to come in.The number game and the trips back and forth to the manager lasted more than two hours. When we finally agreed to the terms and it was approved by the manager, he asked me to sign a contract that had different payment amounts and terms, and he did that TWICE!!! I then asked him if he thought i would sign a contract that i didnt read first; he said it was A MISTAKE . When the manager came over and extended his hand for a shake, I said, I am angry and I am not shaking your hand; he left abruptly, and then i was told by my salesman that I was rude!!! and the focus then shifted to my rudeness,and why was i so rude and that he, the saleman, thought i was rude !!! He asked me,dont you think you are rude? Dont you??? well, admit to me that you are rude. If you want your intelligence insulted, or if you just want to be insulted then this is the dealership for you. do yourself a favor, go elsewhere More
Just an awesome and amazing overall experience! Looked up the car I wanted the day before I drove into the dealership and found the exact car I wanted right away on the lot (2012 GTI). I bought my 2010 Jetta in Riverhead NY and my 3 year oil change was due so I brought my car to West Islip(only because this dealership is closer to my house) and it is by far the WORST service dept experien change was due so I brought my car to West Islip(only because this dealership is closer to my house) and it is by far the WORST service dept experience I have ever had. First of all, when they changed my front sway bar bushings, they didn't even align my car back. They sent me on my way with my steering wheel not centered and at a 1 O'clock position. When I brought my Jetta in to get aligned, I had asked for the alignment paperwork because I wanted proof that they actually performed the alignment. They never ended up giving me paper work. They actually turned in my car over to the showroom and everyone in the service dept left before I had a chance to speak with them. Then I called and asked if i could get the alignment paperwork and the Service Manager told me that they never EVEN performed the alignment!! I told the manager that you definitely did something to my car's steering wheel because now it is centered again and he told me that my steering wheel must have been straight all along. (Yeah, Ok..because steering wheels magically fix themselves). To make matters worse the own service dept manager was getting very loud on the phone with me. I had to actually tell him "Sir, could you please lower your voice, you are screaming in my ear". It gets better(I'm being sarcastic) ...they ended up scratching my steering wheel all over the bottom and told me they will do nothing about it. In the end, if your VW needs car service, do NOT take it to atlantic VW in West Islip or you will be very sorry. More
Some staff there tend to mislead their customers.I bought a new car from them and when I asked about the mileage showed on the car ,they kept telling me it has only been drived for no more than fifty miles.B a new car from them and when I asked about the mileage showed on the car ,they kept telling me it has only been drived for no more than fifty miles.But actually it's more than five hundred.I would never pay the price for a so-called-new car like that(500 miles!!! How do you know what they did to the car while there's no dealer trade ???). The only reason I didn't give very bad evaluation is because there are also sb friendly try to help and make up for this when I complained. However,the it's still a nightmare. And I will never do car business with them again. More
I was recommended by family who lives on Long Island, to check out Atlantic VW. Although I live in Brooklyn and leased my 2009 Passat from Kings VW (in BK) I decided to go out to LI to meet with Dee since check out Atlantic VW. Although I live in Brooklyn and leased my 2009 Passat from Kings VW (in BK) I decided to go out to LI to meet with Dee since i heard so many good things about him. My first visit was purely for the purposes of seeing the new VW SUV in the hopes that I might be able to lease it. As dreams sometimes get the best of us. That was not a financial option for me. At no time did Dee or anyone else at VW give me a hard time or attitude for "wasting their time" even thoughm, essentially that is exactly what I did. I promised Dee that if i considered re-leasing a Passat (2012 Motor Trend Car of the YEAR!)I would certainly be back. a Few weeks later i returned. I had decided to go with the 2012 Passat after all taking into consideration the gas on the vehicle is great and that I really did love my '09. I called Dee and we spoke on the phone early Monday morning and did most of the paperwork on the phone. I wanted navigation and leather and either black or white. I was to pick up my car that evening. Immediately upon arrival Dee greeted me and i was shown my new car. FAIL. What I did not know was that car manufacturers are now making a navigation system that is so small it might as well be your cell phone. I like most consumers may assume that when you ask for leather and Navigation, you are getting the highest model (or at least a high model vehicle). Be very specific in the future folks... because what I was getting was what felt and looked like a Base Model Vehicle with a cell phone sized sceen for radio/nav. I expressed my immediate concern to Dee and we sat down and chatted about getting me into the Passat i thought i WAS getting. I understood that a compromise would need to be made on my part however PRICE was not one. Dee was able to talk his manager and work with me right away. I would absolutely come back to VW again because although the art of selling cars will always be a TAD bit shady.... the real key is to have a facility that employs people who understand human beings. Dee and his manager understood my need a no b.s. deal and delivered when i needed them too. Bottom line is: If you are in the Market for a car... get your advice... research be smart and then, GO SEE "DEE" AT ATLANTIC VOLKSWAGEN! More

I have dealt with Donaldson's, Smithtown VW, and Riverhead Bay,(this is my 4th VW). I would definitely return to Atlantic VW. More
