Deception, deception, and more deception. Go somewhere else First, let me say I am not one of those people who enjoys ripping as many companies as I can in online reviews. I know people need to make a living so I'd much rather be writing a positive review. However, I want to save as many people as possible in this case. I purchased a used 2009 VW Jetta from here. Only hours after getting it home, we noticed there was a crack near the grill of the car. There is NO WAY the people at Atlantic VW didn't know about this. However, they certainly did not mention it. By the way, we dealt with Bukhar Ngala-El who seemed nice enough, but I should've known from the get-go was not a completely honest guy. He does all the typical slimy salesperson stuff from the winking his eye at you constantly to the lines that come out of his mouth that are mostly BS. Don't fall for it. Of course, we called them and let them know we weren't happy with this. To their credit, they fixed it for no extra charge. Still....this shouldn't have happened in the first place. They were acting like they were doing us a favor...in reality, they were trying to hide something being wrong with the car. That was deception #1. Deception #2 was far worse. We dealt with Jessica in the Finance department. I'll admit I was very inexperienced when it comes to buying a car. Unfortunately for me, Jessica took full advantage of this. I definitely should have asked more questions, but Jessica shoved one paper after another in front of me to sign. When I finally did ask a question, she quickly answered it....with a BLATANT LIE. I noticed a price that was between $3,000 and $4,000 higher than what we had agreed upon with Bukhari. When I questioned this, she attributed it to the interest that would pile up if we financed it over a certain amount of years. Now, we didn't see this as an issue since we were only going to make a couple payments and then pay the whole thing off. Weeks later, when the first payment bill came we noticed we had been duped. This increase in price that I had noticed when sitting across from Jessica, was actually a $4,000 service fee that Jessica added on without telling us about, asking us if we wanted, or explaining at all. Unfortunately for me, they have my signature on legal documents. All I can do is warn others about a very, very shady business. Of course, we are still pursuing this, but to this point Jessica has told us that we would eventually "thank her." No Jessica, that's not how this works. You explain what the service is and if we want it then we'll agree to it. You shouldn't have to trick someone into taking it if it is as good as you say it is. And $4,000 for a service fee???? Upon talking to others, I've been told that is about $2500 higher than any service fee they've ever heard of. I wonder if Jessica took a nice little extra commission for herself. Please go somewhere else. Don't get me wrong....I don't have a problem with the car. You can get a volkswagen elsewhere though. Don't do business with these people. The reviews on this site are very high, yes. Do yourself a favor and go look at the reviews for this place on YELP. Businesses can't have bad reviews taken off Yelp which is why it is the most trustworthy review site. More

This is same as selling a car and calling it functional but you just have to pay and install an engine by yourself. No wonder their ebay account has "-1" rating, meaning more negative reviews than positive. Be very careful! More
