My 2012 VW CC, which has had no issues in over a year of ownership, began mis-firing badly and the check engine light came on. I thought our weekend travel plans were derailed and we'd have to turn around and head back to Atlanta. But we googled VW dealerships and called Vic Bailey and were immediately connected with Alex Senn in the service department. We determined that we were less than 10 miles from the dealership and he assured us he'd be able to check the car out quickly. Upon arriving, our car was quickly test driven and then connected to the diagnostic tool. Within 20 minutes of our arrival, the nature of the problem had been determined and the required repairs were begun. Thankfully, the issue was covered by our VW extended warranty and we were on our way again in little over an hour! Despite being a distressed out of town VW owner who did not buy a vehicle from this dealership, I was truly amazed at the level of communication and service; the professionalism exhibited by Alex and the staff was top notch. Because it was so late on a Friday of a holiday weekend, I was sure our weekend getaway was ruined, but thanks to the Vic Bailey service team, we did end up having a wonderful trip and Memorial Day weekend. I must say that the GM at this dealership is absolutely the rudest, most arrogant and unprofessional salesman I have ever had the privilege of talking to. To make a long story shorter I was 100% prepared to buy a car from them and asked for a quote on my trade in value. I was told that after looking at the carfax the trade in would be about $2000 lower because of a mileage discrepancy on the carfax. After I told them there was no discrepancy, they told me to prove it and they would up the offer on the trade. I then contacted the people who I bought the car from (another dealer) who actually went personally to the DMV to make sure that the mileage was right and there was no discrepancy and said they had all of the paperwork to prove it which was extremely nice of them. I then called Vic Bailey VW back and told them the situation and was told again to just drive the hour down and we could talk about it. I said I wanted to hear from the GM that I would be getting a more fair offer on my trade before I drove down. When I spoke with Hal the GM and explained to him that everything was worked out and had the paperwork and the DMV would even talk to him if needed, he said that he wasn't going to up the offer on the trade. I told him two other dealerships offered me way more on trades and he told me and I quote "well then why don't you go trade in the car with them" I explained to him that I wanted their car, not the one from the other dealership, that's why I didn't trade it to them and he continued to just be a smart xxx. Then he told me, "we don't even want your car at all now because look at all the hassle it has already caused". This is absolutely laughable and then I got upset while he was being a complete jerk and he told me he didn't want my car or my business. What a pomp-xxx childish amateur at life this guy is. I would never recommend anyone do any business with this car dealership in any way... More

Due to some credit challenges from erroneous reporting other dealers treated me like a second class citizen. The team at Vic bailey treated me like a regular customer. All of the ratings on this site have obviously been inflated by 'loyal customers' aka employees. I went to this dealership about a year ago to Purchase a CPO Passat and was very happy to be pre ap inflated by 'loyal customers' aka employees. I went to this dealership about a year ago to Purchase a CPO Passat and was very happy to be pre approved for financing via their online application process. I went and looked at the vehicle and told the salesperson (Kathy) that I would be returning within a week after receiving a check which would provide me with the funds for my down payment. She called me EVERY DAY for seven days, which I found very annoying but I really liked the car and went back after a week anyway. I called her the morning I was to pick up the car and requested that an aftermarket towing package be removed before I picked up the car. She told me the car would be ready by the time I got there. When I arrived the towing hitch was still in the car and the sales manager refused to remove it until I signed all the paperwork. It took them THREE HOURS to remove it after I purchased the car! Two days later I received a survey from VW North America inquiring about my purchase. I answer all the question giving them either 4-5 stars on all the questions except for two. These questions asked whether the dealership offered to set up my Bluetooth and whether they detailed my car. They did neither so I answered 'no'. The very next day I received an angry and very unprofessional phone call from my salesperson telling me that because of my "terrible review" she wouldn't get paid as much commission. This level of low class behavior made me decide to cut all ties with this dealer. I get my car serviced at the VW dealer in Greenville and decided not to even take advantage of the free service I was offered. Terrible experience! More

Ryan was very pleasant to work with in the car buying process. He was quick to respond to my questions and concerns about the vehicle. We were from out of town, so buy the time we got there he had the process. He was quick to respond to my questions and concerns about the vehicle. Ryan worked with me to find the perfect car for me, sorting through inventory all over the country, and when we couldn't find exactly what I needed, he led me through ordering one made to order. The process to actually get the car did take a while, but Ryan kept me updated with regular messages regarding the progress of the build and delivery. After delivery, the shop folks detailed every inch of my New Beetle and got her ready for me to ride off in style, while Jason Kemp in the finance department helped me develop a sweet plan for payments that suited my needs and budget. He also found great deals regarding warranties, and offered it all without any pressure or hassle. This is my second new car buy with Vic Bailey, and I will most certainly go there again when any member of my family needs a new or used vehical that we can depend on. THANK YOU! More
