I purchased a vehicle from vw of south miami in December. ( 2023 ford transit 250 High roof) I purchased the vehicle in December and the dealer tricked me with the paperwork. The original deal was between us the vehicle is $39.999 All tax all paperwork everything is completely included in this price. They are wrote down on a paper and showed to me. I paid $20.000 cash, so my loan gonna be $19.999. ( everything are included) Later when I went to the office to sign all documents Karen Torres ( finance manager) She rolled down every pages to show me where need to sign,.without she telling me has there any changes. So I just signed all documents and went to home. I just got a big surprise 3 weeks later when I tried to setup online my automatic payment with my bank and I just realized there my loan is $25.000. I make an appointment with Lorenzo Couttenye (manager). I met with him and front of Karen Torres we discussed the whole situation and he find out accidently they add a protection package to my loan so that's why my loan is went up to 25K from 20K. He apologized and he said they can manage that. They can remove this package and they will send to the bank a copy about that cancelation and the bank will reduce my loan. After Mr.Couttenye told to Karen Torres how to do this cancelation and that's all. I asked them " I need to sign anything? " They said no we're good they just need to sign that cancelation and they will send a copy for me an another copy to my bank via e-mail. So I went to home. A few weeks later I still don't get anything about that cancelation from the dealer. I called to my bank to find out they are get it or not. And they told me they don't get anything from the dealer, and they said my loan is $25.000. So everything was same. After that I tried to reach out Lorenzo via phone about 15 times in 1 week, I left a lot of messages to him and to Karen Torres but nobody called me back. I was so disappointed, so I went to the dealership and reached Lorenzo to ask him about this cancelation. When I saw him front of the office and tried to ask him, but he said he refused to talk with me and wished me have a good day, and left to the meeting. After I went to Karen Torres office and she apologized the whole situation and she said she don't know anything about this case. She said we need to wait Lorenzo to discuss. We wait about 45 minutes when he came out from the meeting and Karen went there and ask him about this case. When she come back I asked her what's going on. She told me the manager refused to talk with you, so she said she can't do anything without the manager. Today is March 2nd. I contacted with my bank and they told me they don't get anything from the dealership and my loan is still $25.000 So I'm so frustrated and disappointed with this situation. More
I am never one to give a bad review, but I think this dealer deserves it. It is the worst dealer I have ever bought a car from. In my experience, the only thing worth it are the service guys. Two years ago I bought a 2021 Volkswagen Atlas Cross sport from them, and I sold it in July 28, 2024, the next day I went to them personally to cancel the Gap I had put in and with very bad intentions the girl of finance gave me an email that was no active, supposedly from the person in charge ( this is to avoid going into details about the job so that someone could tell me where to go), I went back and they told me that I had to do it personally. To make a long story short, I submitted the cancellation to Axiom company on August 19,2024 and on August 30 they approved it. They Gap company told me that due to company policy they will send the check to the dealer and they had to send it to me. Since August I don't know how many times I've called and they hang up on me, I've gone in person and all they done is make fun of me in my face and then they says they are professionals ( a fruit vendor is more professional than them), Axiom company reassure that sent the check to them October 9 and the dealer confirmed October 11, a check that I still have not seen at this point in 2025. I tried several time to communicate with Ibys LLanos, that was the supposed to be in charge and she never called me back, and after they told me that she did not work with them, I managed to speak with a manager named Bryan who was going to check me out and as always I had to start falling behind again, because by that date already in December ( since August) nobody knew about the check, a total shamelessness, a scam and a huge lack of respect towards a client. The last communication I had was an email that I sent to Bryan and a certain Elizabeth Ravelo( a woman who I wrote December 16 and she never answered me), I sent both an email on December 23 and they never answered. I don't recommend that dealer to anyone because they are very unprofessional, completely disrespectful towards the client and without a drop of professionalism. In short, I never received the money, they kept it, and I have all the evidence. It is the WORST DEALER IN MIAMI, I don't recommend it even for a glass of water. More
Made an early appointment to get my front light fixed. Mike told me that it would take 2 hours. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ismael at Volkswagen of South Miami. From the start, he was quick and dismissive, unwilling to listen to my concerns or take the time to understand what I n at Volkswagen of South Miami. His communication was confusing, and he was often rude during our interactions. I was promised an email with a list of dealerships that would honor the warranty offered, but after yesterday’s conversation, I still haven’t received any follow-up. Instead of helping, he would just hand the phone over to someone else and send me in circles. Overall, the customer service was terrible, and I’m very frustrated with the lack of professionalism and communication. I expected better from this dealership. More

I worked with Nicholas and Leo who were both very nice and helpful, but the finance manager was an absolute nightmare to work with. They tried to bait me into making lower payments with higher interest for a longer period of time, when I had told them from the beginning that that was not what I was looking for. If things had proceeded more efficiently, this rating might've been 3 stars. More

Since this is the second time it happens - first time with another dealer -- I decided to sell this car as soon as possible and buy other brand as. Drove almost 2 hrs to see a vehicle that was in the lot according to one of their staff that same day. Once we got there, the same person was not even there at work and hadn't checked that the car had been according to one of their staff that same day. Once we got there, the same person was not even there at work and hadn't checked that the car had been sold. According to the sales person that helped us, the car has not been in the lot for 2 days. Then the manager comes to tell us it was actually sold the night before. I only give it 2 stars because the lady that helped us and Karel were very nice and apologized about the situation and actually tried to help us with any other cars we were interested in. We understand mistakes can happen, but we were in contact with them since the night prior, and having to drive that much to get there to that mass is definitely a bummer. At the time of this review, the car somehow is still up and available on their website and 3rd party websites. More
