Car damaged during warranty repair. I brought my car in for service work for a EPC light as well as a Check engine light. So they blamed the turbo as fault and replaced it under warranty. Then I happened to look at my car when I was there to pick it up and noticed some damage to my front wheels. I was understanding about it and told them that it had to happen in their service depo. Sadly like most dealerships they will weasel out of any thing they mess up. Although they did offer a fix by a local wheel shop which was a decent offer I declined and the reason for that is, that the wheels arrived on the car as new condition when it went into service. I dont want to be stuck with someone else's mess later down the road because someones patch job on my wheels. I was expecting good work and not have to worry about my car being damaged but boy was I wrong. Also they blamed my EPC light and CEL on the intake (Like usual). So they had me drive back home with both the EPC and CEL lit on the dash. Also I'm sure someone will respond to this to make it seem they are being nice. But thats not the case at all, Their favorite line is usually "I'm sorry you feel that way" which is condescending anyway. Last time I ever go here and WARN OTHERS. DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL GET YOUR CAR DAMAGED!! More

Don't get your Golf R or car you care about serviced here I am not usually the person who takes their time to review anything. But, after acknowledging their mistakes and fixing them this service center just I am not usually the person who takes their time to review anything. But, after acknowledging their mistakes and fixing them this service center just can't stop themselves from getting in their own way. I will try to be brief. I bought tires from the service department and had them mount/balance. When removing the old wheel weights, someone used a screw driver gashing my wheels 20+ times as they tried to get them off. It's very basic to use adhesive remover to get wheel weights off. I was livid and the shop foreman agreed that what happened was horrible. He asked me to let them see if they could repair the wheel(s) for me. I was okay with that. Service Department's third party vendor repaired them and painted them. They were fine. The next time I visited the service center, I needed an oil change, tire rotation, and to swap a good wheel for a bad one (dismount and remount tire). The oil change and tire rotation took three hours or more. The bead of the tire was ripped in the process. Service Advisor Adam Mikels covered the oil change and apologized. He knew me from the previous wheel fiasco. Assistant service manager Joerg later called me and agreed to cover me a new Michelin pilot super sport tire. But, not before they gave me a free tire to drive off in because I had to get out of there the other day. When I drove away after 4 hours, a rear right pressure loss sensor came on. I immediately drove back and asked for a loaner car. They did not have one. I had to have a friend pick me up. When I went back to get my car, the wheel that I had taken off the car was just laying on my folded back seat. No bag, no cover, just tossed in there. Please understand this wheel was filthy dirty. Post winter weather dirty. I voiced my concerns to the service department again. I was offered a full interior detail which I never received. Additionally, that same day I had went in to have the USB port fixed as it had stopped working. Whoever took down the work order wrote that my 12V outlet was what needed fixing. So, I had to go back. When I went back to have the USB port replaced, the technician who did the work mangled the plastic trim bits around the center opening where the USB port is. Overall, the customer service people I worked with were extremely accommodating. But, you have to have your best people working on a customers car after you royally mess stuff up and begin to understand that this customer really notices mistakes. I am not okay with B grade work. I bought tires here and had them mount and balance because they have a hunter roadforce balance and alignment machine. Service Express tech took the existing wheel weights off with a screw driver leaving 20+ gashes on the inside of the wheel. Sure, service center offered to repair the wheels and paint them, but that never should have happened. Had service center rotate wheels and mount a new wheel with an existing tire. Ripped the bead on the tire in the process. They offered to buy me a new tire. USB Port went out in the car, car is under warranty so they replaced it. In replacing the USB Port whoever did the work gouged the plastic trim bits around the opening to the center storage. I always ask that the dealership doesn't wash my car. Last time around, they washed my car leaving small scratches that weren't there before. In all, are they bad people? No, not necessarily, but don't trust that they are going to take care of your car as you would. If you are particular about your car just take it to GMP Performance. It may cost more for everything, but you'll have a better experience. More

The only complaint (minor) I have is: I asked if the tv in the waiting area could be tuned to the channel showing the olympics. Was told 'no, the channel cannot be changed'. So, don't know if that meant physically it stays on 1 channel. or you do not want to open the door to channel requests. I can understand that could be a slippery slope. But heck, it is the olympics.
