John was very responsive and helpful. Service was completed ahead of schedule and as expected. Some items were corrected without being asked which was a nice surprise. Poor quality of service experienced, after having bought a 2013 Passat TDI SEL the day before! I returned to the dealership the next day because 1 of 2 keys I've been issued was defective. They had me wait a 2013 Passat TDI SEL the day before! I returned to the dealership the next day because 1 of 2 keys I've been issued was defective. They had me wait for 2 hours while they "looked into it" just to come back to tell me, "yes, this is a bad key". Extremely disappointed with the service department which unfortunately made me wish I didn't buy from this dealership in the first place. To waste my time with something as simple as letting me know something is not working when they issued me the defective key in the first place is a poor reflection of their service and really screams INCOMPETENT for a dealership that sells a high end product. Imagine, watching 6 other customers walk-in and walk-out while you're patiently waiting and in the end have nothing to show for your visit but a "we'll order a new one, it will be here in a few days, you can come pick it up". A waste of time and poor reflection of Volkswagen as a whole! Would like to be contacted in regards to this visit from the dealership. More

The service team at Volkswagen of South Charlotte is exceptional. When my car requires service in addition to the scheduled maintenance, they take me back into the service area and have the service tec exceptional. I feel my car is in good hands because I can trust the service team. And I feel I can drive my car with confidence because the safe functioning of the car is the service team's priority. More
Last visit was for routine oil change & replacement of bulbs & windshield wipers. Service was quick & professional. As always, another great service experience. I called the day before and made the appointment for 8:00 AM. I was received very quickly with friendly with helpful service personnel.I was going to take the shu day before and made the appointment for 8:00 AM. I was received very quickly with friendly with helpful service personnel.I was going to take the shuttle but Joerg said he could have me out in one hour, and one hour it was. He also noticed my inspection was coming up and suggested doing it now and two days later I received a request for the inspection to renew my tag. Timing was right on. I really appreciate my car being washed. Another great timing experience. Keep up the great service and customer trust. More
