This dealership really went to bat for me big time. I have been a long standing VW customer since 1986. Started with a Jetta and drove it until the wheels fell off. Literally. I was awaiting a fire engine on East Blvd near downtown Charlotte and felt this incredible energy rush thru my body. It was not a spiritual awaking but and rear-end collision. As evidence of the fact that you are reading this, the little Jetta did the dieing for me. But I did drive it to the junk yard and claimed my $300 bucks. The Jetta experience created a loyal VW customer. After the collision I purchased a 2000 Passat which I drive until the engine gave up. VW of South Charlotte eased my pain as best they could and transitioned me into another new Passat. I went kicking and screaming all the way. The thoughts of a new-car transaction did not appeal to me at all. I'm very conservative and don't like new things at all. However, I was in a bad spot and Chris H. and David P. bailed me out. I would highly suggest buying a new VW from VW of South Charlotte. More

I loved having the opportunity to actually see the car that I ended up buying... rather than some stock photo provided by VW (where the color doesn't match the actual description). The staff was extremely knowledgeable of their product and worked incredibly hard to get me into my new VW Jetta Wolfsburg edition. David, Chris and Cody worked incredibly hard including staying late, working figures and providing me many options to make my buying experience a pleasure. It even boiled down to the simple things... like offering me a soft drink while waiting. It's not often that you find that kind of professionalism and respect in today's world. We came in to the dealership on a snowy Friday night. Sean was very helpful and patient. I had an excellent purchasing experience with this dealership. I knew what I was looking for and they happened to have it on their lot. I live near the dealership, so David offered to come to my hou dealership. I knew what I was looking for and they happened to have it on their lot. David showed a very good understanding of what features the car offered and admitted that the car being very new had features that he hadn't even learned about yet. I have found the car very intuitive and the owners manual simple to use. After driving it, I was confirmed that I really liked the car and we were able to efficiently get through all the paperwork that evening. They even stayed an hour after store closing to finish getting me through financing rather than asking me to come back in the next day. It really showed to me how they value my time and made me feel confident that they will continue to show this same consideration to me in the future as I have them perform the service on my new car. I am very pleased that I was able to so successfully purchase my new car from Volkswagen of South Charlotte. My only knock that I have found against them so far is in their documentation fees. As they were $200 more than another dealership in town, I would challenge them to review this fee to see if they could be more competitive. For me, however, the additional $200 was certainly a fair trade for the overall experience that I had with them and as an investment in our future interactions. More
I made original contact with VWSouthCharlotte through their internet sales. We negotiated the trade in on my 3 year old VW Jetta and the purchase price all sight unseen. David was great throughout the whole process and conversation we had by email and phone was polite and constuctive. The post sales experience has been great as well. One of the key fobs for the car was missing at purchase, but was found and re-united with us. I also found a piece of missing trim and David is arranging to mail me a replacmement. I have no doubt they would fit this for free, but I'm thity miles from the dealer. More
With my home located 1.5 hours north of this dealership, in December of 2009 I purchased two VW's from VW of South Charlotte. One was a used 2007 3.6 Passat and other a new 2009 3.6 CC. The entire buying process for both cars lasted no more than 2 hours. The dealership and David Phannareth did everything possible in order for me to achieve the best deal. Here is an example of fantastic customer service: After purchasing the CC I was driving home via 85 North when I noticed the car pulling a little to the left. I called David Phannareth and he contacted the local VW dealership in Greensboro which aligned and balanced the tires with absolutely no questions asked or fee charged. I wanted the same but in a larger spaced car so I chose the 2010 Jetta TDI sportswagon as I was trading in a Nissan Quest which is the largest van and called a SUV. I loved the Nissan but it wasn't great on fuel and was like a tank sometimes. So far I love the VW and thank David & all the others for their help. More

Not only was I impressed with the vehicle and all the features for the price - but the sales person (Dominic Spence) and the finance team made my trade and lease purchase a seamless transaction. I told them upfront my terms and interests - and they worked hard to make a deal that I would be happy with. I am now a proud owner of a new 2010 VW CC - and love the car. It helps that my experience at the dealership was a positive one. In fact - I was out of the dealership and in my new car within 2.5 hours - from start to finish. If you are considering a new car - consider the VW cc and the current sign and drive program. You get a lot for you hard earned dollars - and the team there will work to earn your business. Chris More
